Score all the pieces: Using a ruler as a guide, run the back side of a butter knife along the dotted lines. 2. Using scissors or an X-ACTO knife and cutting mat, cut out pieces on solid lines. Also cut slits on top flaps. ASSEMBLE YOUR BOX 3. Fold up all sides. Then fold side flaps (1) inward. 4. Dab glue on the underside of flap, and press onto printed side of panel A (2). Repeat on other flap, so that two flaps overlap slightly. Repeat on other side of box. 5. Using a hole punch, make a small hole on both sides of box, where flaps meet. 6. String ribbon or wire through the holes, and knot the ends on the inside.

GETTING STARTED
Materials;
• Metal-edged ruler
• Butter knife • Scissors or X-ACTO knife • Cutting mat (optional)
1. Score all the pieces: Using a ruler as a guide, run the back side of a butter knife along the dotted lines.
2. Using scissors or an X-ACTO knife and cutting mat, cut along solid lines.
ASSEMBLE THE COOKIE
3. Fold paper circle in half, patterned sides together, and create a good crease. Unfold.
4. Hold the paper so that the patterned side faces up, and turn the paper so that the crease is vertical.
5. Gently fold circle together, lining up the crease so that each side is even, but DO NOT crease in the center at this time.
6. Place the fortune strip in the middle of the fortune cookie.

7. Holding the edges together, place a finger in the center of the crease pull the sides of the cookie downward. Continue until both sides of the cookie touch.
8. Your fortune cookie is ready!
