Open Arms Fair Booth reported 21 hours of service logged by 10 Zontians.

Hope House Carry-in at the September 3 meeting created a total of $182.65 donated products. Hope House was very happy to receive the paper goods. Apparently they had run out of paper towels and were low on toilet paper. Thank you, Zontians!

The Race for the Cure is Saturday, September28. Several Zontians have signed up to work.

Zonta Says No: Kathy Foust can report.

Coats for Christmas workers and a carry-in will be coming up in November. Be prepared to bring in hats and mittens and sign up to work.

City Mission carry-in for Darrel the Barrel will take place at our joint Christmas Luncheon in December. Watch for future information.

We will also be creating Christmas Boxes for City Mission and will be taking a vote at the next business meeting to spend $300 on them.

Hope House Christmas Party will be coming up in December as well. We will be needing workers to serve the meal and clean up afterward.

Kim Trautman sent out an email earlier in the month, calling for donations to ZI’s AE Fellowship:Hello District 5 --As you saw from the Call to Conference, we have a goal to raise at least one full AE Fellowship. The reasons we want to focus on this particular ZI service project are:* It is our longest running project, yet it has not been fully funded by direct donations for many years.* It is a perfect size goal for our conference - $10,000I know that you will have many club members who are not able to attend conference. Please ask your members to consider making a donation to the ZI Foundation that you or your club delegate can bring to conference. Although members can designate any of the ZI service projects listed on the form, please encourage them to select the Amelia Earhart Fellowship. As a reminder, donations of any size are welcome. None of us has the capacity to fund a fellowship alone, but working together we can make a huge difference. Thanks for all that you do for Zonta! I look forward to seeing you next month.Mel, Zonta International Foundation Ambassador for District 5
