APT Rock Drills

The APT Model 109 and Model 115 are lightweight tools for drilling holes for anchor bolts and small dowel hole drilling. These versatile tools have a stop rotation feature that

converts them from a drilling tool to a percussion tool for light chipping in horizontal and overhead work.

Models 137, 138 and 155 are used in general construction, utility work, and plant maintenance. They are designed for drilling through granite, hard faced rock, quarry drilling and drilling secondary holes for blasting. They are also used with

dowel hole drilling machines. Adaptable to wet drilling application by attaching APT valve, wet tube and swivel assembly.

Standard Paving Breakers

Tough and dependable, the high performance model 190 is the most powerful air tool APT makes. It is designed for big jobs such as heavy demolition and concrete breaking. The 160

model paving breaker is a versatile, hard-hitting tool that can be used for medium to heavy demolition work and concrete breaking, and is the perfect all around breaker. The model 140 is a rugged, yet lightweight, paving breaker designed for light to medium construction work. It is ideally suited for plant maintenance work such as light demolition of floors, pavement,

frozen ground and masonry walls, and is very popular for bridge deck jobs. The model 140, 160 & 190 standard paving breakers are also available in an ergonomic style that APT calls their Airgo-Line. The model 117, the 30 lb. class paving breaker is the ideal tool for light to medium demolition work as well as for use in confined areas.

Clay Diggers & Trench Diggers

The rugged APT Clay and Trench Diggers are used for digging clay, shale, hard pan, and frozen

ground. The Model 118 is most commonly used for clearing out dirt under existing foundations and for tunneling under existing structures. The Model 118 can be used for horizontal and for vertical work. The Model 119 is the perfect tool for digging trenches to lay pipes, phone lines, for foundation work,

etc. The only difference among the APT Model 117 Paving Breaker and Models 118 and 119 is the handle, they have the same cylinders and the majority of internal parts in common, this makes them very versatile tools for use in various types of work. The Model 125 is a lighter weight tool ideal for digging medium to lightly packed soil, for light demolition work and for tunneling around existing

foundations.

Rivet Busters

The APT model 133 Rivet Buster was originally designed to cut rivets off metal structures. Today the

Rivet Buster series is widely known for its tough, powerful tools. They have the ability to perform all types of medium to heavy demolition work. With half the weight of the 60 lb. class paving breakers, the ratio of thier high impact energy versus their weight make them the most efficient tool APT makes.

The model 133 meets the weight requirements for bridge deck repair work, and are also popular for cutting up underground tanks. Rivet Busters are offered in 8" and 11" stroke, and with an extended T-style handle for vertical demolition work. The Model 133 also comes in a 4-bolt style handle which in-corporates a vibration dampening feature. APT also has an outside trigger model that has a safety fea-

ture to minimize the possibility of being accidentally activated.

The Model 131 Backfill Tamper is used for soil compaction,

temporary filling of holes, asphalt packing, etc. Applications range from foundation and pavement repair to the

installation of power or telephone poles. APT offers an optional half-moon shaped pole tamping accessory for

Scalers - Needle Scalers The needle scaler cleans irregular surfaces easily. These versatile scalers remove rust, paint and other coatings from

metal; peens welded joints and removes slag; cleans castings; chips stone, concrete and brick. APT's newest tool, the Scaler/Needle Scaler, is designed and

crafted with the same attention to detail and careful choice of materials that have made our tools a benchmark of quality for over 60 years.

A notched bayonet-style needle housing enables easy adjustment as needles wear, and allows quick conversion between needles and chisel without special tools.

The needles clean irregular surfaces easily. This versatile scaler removes rust, paint and other coatings from metal; peens welded joints and removes slag; cleans castings; chips stone,

concrete and brick. Standard Features:
