CHRISTMAS PARADE Thursday 29 November Christmas Parade - for dancers aged 7 years and above All dancers aged 7 years and above have been taught the choreography for this event in class this term (if in doubt please check with your teacher if unsure!) and this performance is open to everyone who knows the dance. Meet on the grounds of St Thomas’s Church at 5.30pm, dressed in PMPA leotard and either shorts or skirt OR Blue or Black PMPA performance singlet with Christmas adornment (eg. Tinsel, hats, earrings, Christmas skirt etc) Hair in two plaits/braids with centre part. Sneakers, no dance shoes. Dancers will perform down Horton Street as part of the parade and need to be collected out the front of TG's at the conclusion of our portion of the parade. Please be prompt in collecting as we need to get to the lights for the next performance. Petite Performers are welcome to travel in the Bus. Some of the bigger girls will supervise. Please be prompt in pickup at the end of the route, we will not let children out of the bus without someone to go to.

TURNING ON THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS Thursday 29 November FOR: Twinkle Toes, Kindy Combo & Junior Combo, Petite Performers. 8yrs Jazz Performance. 10yrs Performance. 12yrs Contemporary

All dancers in the above classes who wish to participate in this performance (dancer will have learned choreography in class) please meet at the right hand side of the stage on Town Green at 6.30pm (this time may change, please stay tuned to the PMPA Dance Parents Facebook group for any inevitable changes on the day). Look for Miss Stacey on the night. You must wait with your dancer until they take the stage and be side stage at the conclusion of the performance to collect you dancer immediately after they exit the stage area.

Please wear a Christmas outfit of your own choice, hair of your own choice and sneakers/any shoes they can dance in, no dance shoes please (they will get ruined on the grass!) The more tinsel the better! If you have already danced in the parade, you may just wear your parade gear.

This is one of my favourite nights of the year, I hope that all PMPA dancers can make it to share in the PMPA and Christmas spirit!

How exciting, we have been asked to perform at Westport’s Christmas under the Stars, starring Tim Campbell!!! This is a massive event!

Dates:             Sunday 9 December – Rehearsal 4:00-4:15pm                        Sunday 9 December – Performance 6:30pm approx, we will be on after Sing Australia, please keep watch on the night, don’t miss it! Time TBA, stay on Facebook! Duration:        Petite Performers will perform first “All I want for Christmas is you” 8yrs Performance Jazz (all students!) will perform Jump! 10yrs Performance - Pete modern Imagine 12yrs Contemporary - new Christmas routine

Skin coloured body stockings are a MUST 12yrs Contemporary - your best Christmas outfit - Tan tights and tan jazz shoes

Make up: No or light only Makeup please
