Following the very successful conferences in Brisbane/AUS (2011) and Hamilton/NZ (2013) experts on powder metallurgi-cal processing of titanium and titanium alloys will meet again for discussing status and progress on relevant PM Ti topics.
Venue
The conference will be hosted by the Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht and will take place at the Leuphana University Lüneburg. Lüneburg is an ancient city from the Middle Ages close to Hamburg with picturesque houses, small streets and a lot of cosy cafés and pubs. Thus, it provides an optimal ambience for fruitful networking activities around the presentations.
There are excellent train connections to the city of Hamburg and its airport. On the last day of the conference there will be the possibility to visit neighbouring institutes and companies working in the fi eld of titanium powder processing.

Call for Abstracts
Abstracts should be submitted by using a template which can be downloaded via the conference’s website www.hzg.de/pmti2015. The content has to be related to powder metallurgy of titanium, especially to one of the following topics:

The authors of accepted abstracts will be requested to provide a ma-nuscript (between 6 to 10 pages) to be included in a dedicated volume of the periodical “Key Engineering Materials”, published by Trans Tech Publications Ltd, Switzerland. The papers will be peer-reviewed before publication. Key Engineering Materials is indexed by Web of Science and other major databases. The periodical will be available in full text online at www.scientifi c.net.
