Thursday, February 22nd, 2018 at 9:30 am at Beckett’s Café Meeting Room Present: John Yaple, Jennifer Reaves, Brandi Haddock, Allen Hall, Chris Nickle,

Forrest Stodghill, Kandace Yaple, Robert Dodson, and Jessica Hubbard. Staff Present: Kim Cox Roll call was taken by sign in. Meeting was called to order by President John Yaple. Motion was made to approve agenda as emailed. Motion made to approve the minutes from the January BOD meeting as emailed. Allen Hall, Officer/Treasurer 1. Received financials for January 2018 as emailed. Motion made and approved to accept financials for

January/YTD. 2. Reviewed Edward Jones portfolio. No motions made; income still up. 3. Select BOD members with member for financials review. 4. Motion made to spend up to $750 on an MR RPAC Auction item. 5. Recommendation accepted to have first All Member meeting in April, second one in Sept, third in October

1. No meeting this month. 2. Conversation brought up at BOD table about sold date and sold price being entered in the MLS Public

Remarks section; this is unallowable. 3. Sold data was also recently sent out from an affiliate to the public and members. It was confirmed that

this data was NOT given out from the OGAR MLS through a RETS or IDX feed. President’s Report – John Yaple

1. Agency project is still in progress to share with the entire membership. AE’s Report – Kim Cox 1. Board staff is still auditing every 100th listing and working with agents to ensure the integrity of our data

is the best it can be. 2. Gave a building update; asbestos is removed and building has been demoed. As soon as it dries up the

contractor will move forward. 3. MLS of Choice is still in a learning curve and questions are being raised across the nation regarding their agent’s listings being displayed on their websites when they are not members of that MLS (as their

a. Motion made that for PAID Continuing Ed classes, the board will look for a non-member to teach, but are allowed to bring in members when needed. (This is to curb any type of possible recruiting). b. Recommendation was made to MLS to discuss the process of entering addresses in the system as to whether or not we should spell out the streets entirely. The history of a listing can be missed if the street is abbreviated on one listing and not on another. c. Recommendation made to MLS to discuss MLS of Choice “fees”.

2. Membership & Community Service – Reviewed minutes.
