As of 01.15.20 PLP COHORT 4 (2020) – BIOS Presidential Leadership Program – Sponsor & Facilitator Dr. Mark B. Rosenberg is fifth president of Florida International University (FIU). A public institution of higher education, FIU is the face of the country’s future in higher education demographics: it is a majority-minority institution that leads the country in the production of minority degrees in the sciences and engineering. Dr. Rosenberg has served as the fifth president of FIU since August 2009. A political scientist specializing in Latin America, Dr. Rosenberg is the first FIU faculty member to ascend to the university’s presidency. Under his leadership as president, FIU has increased enrollment to almost 56,000 students, improved graduation rates by nearly 13% and hired over 500 new faculty. As President, Dr. Rosenberg has provided leadership to grow the institution’s budget, improve student retention and graduation rates, expand internships for enrolled students, and coordinate FIU’s emergence as a leading producer of graduates in priority national and state areas focused on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). The university has been named as a Carnegie “Highest Research” as well as an “Engaged” institution, and has developed path-breaking partnerships with the Miami Dade County Public Schools, JP Morgan Chase, Florida Power & Light and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. Research expenditures have grown by nearly 30% to nearly $171 million, and over seventy new student advisers and counselors have been hired for a restructured and expanded student graduation initiative. From 2005 to 2009, Dr. Rosenberg served as the second Chancellor (he was the first that was formally selected by the Board of Governors) for the State University System of Florida, which includes all of Florida’s public universities – over 325,000 students and an all-accounts budget of nearly $9 billion. As chancellor, Dr. Rosenberg led the system’s strategic development and financial planning and policy initiatives, working closely with Governors Jeb Bush and Charlie Crist and the state legislature to secure support for SUS priorities. During this era, major new strides were made in research support for the system, over $1 billion was provided for new facility construction, and a new SUS strategic plan was developed, approved and launched.

Prior to becoming chancellor, Dr. Rosenberg was integrally involved in the expansion and development of FIU into a major public research university. As Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs from 1998 to 2005, Dr. Rosenberg spearheaded the establishment of a law school in 2002 and a medical school in 2006. Under his leadership, FIU increased enrollment, implemented major campus construction projects, and was invited to join the select national honor society Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Rosenberg was also instrumental in moving FIU into the top tier of Carnegie Foundation research universities. Dr. Rosenberg’s academic career began at FIU in 1976 as an assistant professor of political science. In 1979, he founded the FIU Latin American and Caribbean Center, which today is one of the nation’s premier federally-supported research and teaching centers focusing on the region. Dr. Rosenberg subsequently served as the Founding Dean of the College of Urban and Public Affairs and Vice Provost for International Studies. He has also been a Visiting Distinguished Research Professor at The Peabody College of Vanderbilt University, and a Visiting Professor at the Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey (ITESM) in Mexico. Dr. Rosenberg earned a B.A. in 1971 from Miami University of Ohio and a Ph.D. in Political Science with a graduate certificate in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from the University of Pittsburgh in 1976. He has written or co-edited seven books and numerous scholarly articles in leading journals. His latest book, The United States and Central America: Geopolitical Realities and Regional Fragility (2007), is a Harvard University project co-authored with Luis Guillermo Solis of Costa Rica. Governmental and media organizations have frequently sought Dr. Rosenberg’s expertise on Latin America. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, has testified before Congress numerous times, and has served as a consultant to the Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development. Firmly committed to service with national and local educational impact, Dr. Rosenberg serves as Immediate Past-Chair of the Association of Public Land-Grant University’s (APLU) Coalition of Urban Serving Universities (USU); Immediate Past-Chair of APLU’s Commission on Access, Diversity, and Excellence (CADE); and Co-Chair of the Board on Science Education’s (BOSE) Roundtable on Systemic Change in Undergraduate STEM Education. He also recently concluded his term as Chair of the National Academies’ Committee on Developing Indicators for Undergraduate STEM Education, as well as serving as a member of the national Task Force of Apprenticeship Expansion.

Within Miami-Dade County, Dr. Rosenberg was the 109th Chair of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce (GMCC), one of Florida’s leading business associations; and also served a 5-year term as Chair of the Academic Leaders Council (ALC) for the Beacon Council, Miami-Dade County’s official economic development organization. He serves on the Board of Directors of City National Bank of Florida and is active in a variety of other civic organizations, including the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach, Florida Council of 100, and the United Way of Miami-Dade County. Dr. Rosenberg is a first-generation college graduate whose two children, Ben and Ginelle, are both graduates of FIU. He and his wife of over 40 years, Rosalie, are members of Temple Menorah in Miami Beach.

Presidential Leadership Program – Program Director & Co-Facilitator Valeria Espina serves as Executive Director and Head of Strategic Initiatives and Projects at the Office of the President at Florida International University (FIU). In her role, she manages Presidential initiatives, serves as Program Director for the Presidential Leadership Program, is a member of the President’s

Executive Committee and serves as liaison with university partners such as Royal Caribbean and Florida Power and Light. Additionally, Valeria represents the Office of the President on several university-wide committees. Valeria Espina is a two-time graduate of FIU, earning her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in accounting (’13) (’14).

Ahiza Fernandez Executive Director, Administrative Operations Division of External Relations, Strategic Communications and Marketing Ahiza Fernandez is currently the Executive Director for Administrative Operations in the Division of External Relations,

Strategic Communications and Marketing. As Executive Director, she leads administrative operations related to all financial and personnel matters including the strategic, analytical and planning priorities for the division. She also manages the division’s $8 million annual operating budget. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Communications and her Master of Public Administration from Florida International University (’03) (’15). Ahiza hold certificates in both Human Resources and as a paralegal. She is an alumna of the Leadership Education Advancement Program (LEAP) and of Leadership Miami.

Alexander “Alex” Kroll Associate Professor Department of Public Policy and Administration Alexander Kroll is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Policy and Administration at Florida International University. He received both his diploma and his Ph.D. in Public Administration from the University of Potsdam (’08) (’12). During his time at FIU, he has taught 6 courses and published over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles. In addition to his role as Associate

Professor, he is Chair of the Academic Performance and Benchmarking Committee.

Alison Piatt Academic Advisor II and Adjunct Lecturer College of Arts, Sciences & Education and Department of History Alison Piatt is currently an Exploratory Academic Advisor in the College of Arts, Sciences & Education. In addition to her role as an Academic Advisor, she teaches courses for exploratory students and

American History since 1877 for the History Department. After many years of working in higher education in northeastern Pennsylvania, she relocated to FIU in 2017 and was honored to receive the 2018 “Excellence in First Year Advising Award” by the FIU Council on Undergraduate Advising. As part of the FIU mentor program, she has worked with students in the Golden Scholars and Fostering Panther Pride programs and serves on the university wide new advisor training team. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Misericordia University (’03), a Master of Arts Degree in History from Bowling Green State University (’05), and a United States Curling Association Level I Instructor Certification.

Amir A. Khoddamzadeh Instructor Department of Earth and Environment Amir Khoddamzadeh is a sustainable and conservation horticulturist working at the Department of Earth and Environment (E&E). He has a Ph.D. in Agricultural Biotechnology from University Putra

Malaysia ('11). He is also affiliated in the Agroecology Program and International Center for Tropical Botany. He is the Undergraduate Program Director, Organic Garden Faculty Supervisor and Garden Club Faculty Advisor. His research in sustainable and conservation horticulture science broadly covers how to integrate the science and the stakeholders' need to address the real challenges associated with climate change and species endangerment. He has taught 8 courses and had over 12 peer-reviewed articles.

Amy Huseby Instructor Department of English Amy Kahrmann Huseby is an Instructor in the Department of English at Florida International University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree summa cum laude in English Literature from Washington

State University (’09). She then earned her Master’s and Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (’12) (’17). In her three years at FIU, she has designed and taught more than 12 courses in 19th-century British literature and culture, published six articles, two book reviews, and an edited collection with Palgrave-Macmillan, and presented at 10 conferences. In her first year at FIU, Dr. Huseby edited a custom Norton anthology of English literature for FIU students that is now used in every LIT 1000 Introduction to Literature course at this university. She serves as the Chair of the Literature Gateway Curriculum Committee, English Department Media Coordinator, Faculty Advisor for the United Nations Girls UP at FIU student organization, and as a Faculty Mentor for Dual Enrollment high school teachers in Broward and Miami-Dade counties.

Bridget Pelaez Assistant Director Emergency Management Bridget Pelaez currently serves as the Assistant Director for Emergency Management in FIU’s Division of Operations and Safety. She is the Director of the FIU-FAST Team, a critical care disaster response team capable of deploying domestically and abroad. She is

an adjunct faculty member for FIU’s Academy for International Disaster Preparedness. She serves as the Nations Deputy Commander for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Disaster Medical Systems Trauma Critical Care Team. Pelaez is dedicated to disaster preparedness and response with a strong emphasis on community engagement and collaborative efforts to engage and train clinicians for disasters worldwide. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from NOVA Southeastern University (13’). She later earned her Master’s degree in Disaster Management from Florida International University (17’). In addition, she holds many additional licenses and certifications to include Technical Emergency Response training (CBRNE Specialist), Certified Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings, Response to Radiological and Nuclear Weapons of Mass Destruction from the Center for Radiological Nuclear Training and Certified Humanitarian Civil-Military Coordination from the United Nations Office for the coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

Cayce Wicks Instructor Department of English Cayce Wicks is currently an Instructor in the Department of English at Florida International University. She earned both her Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature and her Master’s degree

in English Literature for Florida International University (’10) (’15). While at FIU, she has taught 5 courses. In addition to her role as Instructor, she is a Student Success Coordinator and serves as Chair of the ENC 1930 Committee.

Christina Abdelmalak Project Lead Advisor College of Arts, Sciences & Education Christina Abdelmalak is currently a Senior Academic Advisor in the College of Arts, Sciences & Education. In her role as Senior Academic Advisor, she provides useful information to students via My E-

Advisor relating to retention, graduation, and the university’s Graduation Success Initiative (GSI). She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and her Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University (’08) (’15).

Christina Montville Associate Director Residential Life Christina Montville is currently Associate Director of Residential Life. In her role as Associate Director, she serves as the chief residential life officer for a housing program servicing over 3,300

students. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Biology from Lycoming College (’99); her Master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (’02); and her Master’s degree in Construction Administration from Columbia University (’16). In addition to her role as Associate Director, she serves on the Alcohol and Other Drugs Taskforce and the Admissions Clearance Committee.

Christopher “Chris” Carbot Assistant Dean for Administration and Strategic Initiatives College of Law Chris Carbot is currently Assistant Dean for Administration and Strategic Initiatives at the College of Law. In his role as Assistant Dean for Administration and Strategic Initiatives, he manages the daily operations of the College of Law and collaborates with the Dean and other administrators to develop and manage agendas to

advance the College’s strategic initiatives and operational goals. He earned both his Bachelor of Arts in English and his Juris Doctor from Florida International University (’05) (’09). He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2009.

Deana Goldin Assistant Clinical Professor Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences Deana Goldin is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Florida International University. She earned her Bachelor’s, Master’s and

Doctor of Nursing degrees from the University of Miami (’95) (’01) (’10). Additionally, she earned her Ph.D. in Nursing Education from Nova Southeastern University (’17). While at FIU, she has been published over 12 times. In additional to her role as Assistant Clinical Professor, she serves on the Board of Directors for Hillel at FIU and on the University Scholarship Committee.

Eduardo “Eddie” Merille Assistant Vice President, Brand Marketing & Social Media Division of External Relations, Strategic Communications and Marketing Eddie Merille is currently Assistant Vice President of Brand Marketing & Social Media in the Division of External Relations,

Strategic Communications and Marketing. In his role as Assistant Vice President of Brand Marketing & Social Media, he oversees four key areas: brand management, social media, digital communications and multimedia production. He is responsible for university-wide branding, flagship social media accounts and a team of multimedia and digital communications professionals. He earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Florida International University (’97) (’00).

Emmanuele Archange Bowles Assistant Director Talent & Acquisition Management Emmanuele Bowles is currently Assistant Director for Talent & Acquisition Management. In her role as Assistant Director, she assists in the overall management of the Talent & Acquisition

management department. Her main efforts are relating to leading and developing a team of highly effective recruiters and talent acquisition team members. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from Florida A&M University and her Ed.D. in Education from Nova Southeastern University. In addition to her role as Assistant Director, she is also an Adjunct Professor teaching courses in Human Resource Management, Managing Diversity and Recruitment and Selection.

Isaac Burt Associate Professor College of Arts, Sciences and Education Isaac Burt is currently an Associate Professor of Counselor Education in the College of Arts, Sciences and Education at Florida International University. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in

Psychology and his Master’s degrees in Public Administration and Clinical Mental Health from the University of Louisville (’99) (’01) (’06). He earned his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Central Florida (’10). While at FIU he has been published over 11 times. In addition to his role as Associate Professor, he serves as a Senator for the United Faculty of Florida-FIU Chapter.

Jaclyn Schwartz Assistant Professor Occupational Therapy Jaclyn Schwartz is currently an Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy at Florida International University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from

the University of Texas at Austin (’08); her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis (’10); and her Ph.D. in Health Sciences from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee (’15). While at FIU, she has been published over 19 times. In addition to her role as Assistant Professor, she serves on the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences Research Council.

Jacob “Jake” Burns Program Coordinator – Sexual Assault Prevention Initiatives Office of the Dean of Students Jake Burns is currently Program Coordinator for Sexual Assault Prevention Initiatives at the Office of the Dean of Students. In his role as Program Coordinator, he coordinates programs and campus-wide educational campaigns focused on creating a culture of care, sexual

assault prevention and bystander intervention education. He earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies and his Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University (’13) (’17). He is certified in Step UP! Bystander Intervention and as a Mental Health First Aid USA facilitator.

Jehnny Rivera Director, Signature Events Division of External Relations, Strategic Communications and Marketing Jehnny Rivera is currently the Director for Signature Events at the Division of External Relations, Strategic Communications and

Marketing. In her role as Director of Signature Events, she oversees the creation of events that support our university’s mission and protocols set forth by leadership. She develops and executes all of these events from conception to completion. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and Master of Business Administration from Florida International University (’10) (’16).

Jennifer Abeloff Clinical Assistant Professor Robert Stempel College of Public Health & Social Work Jennifer Abeloff is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Robert Stempel College of Public Health and Social Work at Florida International University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Bryn Mawr College (’95); her Master of Social Work

from Washington University in St. Louis (’97); and her Master’s degree in Criminology from Florida State University (’03). In addition to her role as Clinical Instructor, she serves as Associate Director for the School of Social Work and represents her college in the Excellence in Teaching project.

Jennifer Hilton Montero Director, Program Administration Office of Global Initiatives Jennifer Hilton Montero is currently the Director of Program Administration at the Office of Global Initiatives. In her role, she oversees the department and supervises 60 international partnerships in 30 countries monitoring the collaborations and evaluating the partnership lifecycles. She earned her Bachelor of Arts

in International Studies, Spanish from Austin College (’04); her Master of Arts in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University (’06); and is currently working on her Doctor of Philosophy in Public Affairs at Florida International University. In addition to her role within the Office of Global Initiatives she is Associate Director of the Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER).

Jody Glassman Director Admissions Jody Glassman is currently the Director of Admissions at Florida International University. As Director of Admissions, she is the institutions Chief Admission Officer and leads FIU admissions in

continuing the institution’s record for improving its academic profile and geographic diversity of new students as well as implementing strategic plans to ensure retention to matriculation. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of South Florida (’96) and her Master’s degree in Education – Enrollment Management from Capella University (’12). In addition to her role as Director of Admissions, she also teaches First Year Experience.

John Nykolaiszyn Director, Office of Business Career Services College of Business John Nykolaiszyn is currently the Director of the Office of Business Career Services at the College of Business. In his role as Director of the Office of Business Career Services, he is responsible for developing new relationships with companies that might have an interest in establishing a college relations/college recruiting program

with the College of Business. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration – Management from Florida International University (’96) and his Master’s degree in Health Services Administration from Barry University (’08). He is a graduate of Leadership Miami and an SHRM Senior Certified Professional.

Kerrie Montgomery Orozco Director Department of Campus Life Kerrie Montgomery Orozco is currently Director of Campus Life, serving both the MMC and BBC campuses. In her role as Director of Campus Life, she provides oversight for programmatic efforts of the department

and provides guidance for advisors of the Student Programming Councils (SPC-MMC and SPC-BBC, Council for Student Organizations (CSO) at MMC and Student Organization Council (SOC) at BBC, Homecoming Council, Black Student Union, and Panther Power. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Classical Studies, her Master’s degree in Art History, and her Master’s degree in Student Personnel in Higher Education from the University of Florida (’94) (’99) (’03). She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education from the University of Denver (’16). She is a graduate of the Educational Leadership Enhancement Program (ELEP) at FIU. In addition to her role as Director of Campus Life, she also serves as the State Director for the Florida branch of NASPA: Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education.

Lilia Silverio-Minaya Assistant Dean of Student Services & Strategic Planning; Executive Director of Finance and HR College of Communication, Architecture and the Arts Lilia Silverio-Minaya is currently the Assistant Dean of Student

Services & Strategic Planning; Executive Director of Finance and HR in the College of Communication, Architecture and the Arts. In her role as Assistant Dean and Executive Director, she devises strategic plans, provides detailed insight and evaluates date to streamline the college’s strategic planning processes. She is a two-time FIU graduate earning her Bachelor’s degree in Economics, her Master’s degree in Finance. She is scheduled to graduate with a Ph.D. in Public Affairs in 2020 from Florida International University. Her research focuses on performance management systems. She is a graduate of the Educational Leadership Enhancement Program (ELEP).

Luisa Perez Director, Office of Marketing and Communications and Event management College of Business Luisa has been with FIU and at the College of Business for seven years. In her role as Director of Marketing Communications and Events, Luisa manages an in-house team of creative professionals and event planners and works closely with leadership to plan and

execute marketing communications initiatives in support of university and college branding and reputation goals. In this capacity, Luisa has distinguished herself, and is valued for her strategic thinking, as well as her tactical and operational excellence. Prior to joining FIU, Luisa worked as a marketing and advertising executive, where for 20 years she launched image and brand campaigns for the likes of the City of Delray Beach, Marriott, PGA National, The Related Group, Codina Partners, and many more with a focus on real estate, hospitality and destination marketing. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Miami (’93) and her Master’s degree in Mass Communications – Global Strategic Communications from Florida International University (’18). She has completed the Essentials Leadership Program with the FIU Center for Leadership, and more recently The Leadership Education Advancement Program (LEAP). Luisa has served as a Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Good to Great Awards judge for several years, and annually as a Mentor at the South Florida Business Journal's Mentoring Monday event.

Magnolia Hernandez Assistant Dean of Student & Alumni Affairs Robert Stempel College of Public Health & Social Work Magnolia Hernandez is currently the Assistant Dean of Student and Alumni Affairs at the Robert Stempel College of Public Health and Social Work. In her role as Assistant Dean, she provides leadership and oversight in recruitment and strategic enrollment, student

success and student-centered metrics, student development and alumni engagement. She earn her Bachelor of Arts in Writing from the University of Pittsburgh (’00); her Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Connecticut (’03); and her Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration from Indiana State University (’17). She is a graduate of the Educational Leadership Enhancement Program (ELEP).

Milagros “Millie” Acebal Director, Marketing and External Communications College of Communication, Architecture + The Arts Millie Acebal is currently the Director of Marketing and Communications at the College of Engineering and Computing. In her role as Director of Marketing and Communications, she works

with the Office of External Relations, Strategic Communications and Marketing to establish, lead and manage the overall strategy for communication, public relations and marketing activities for the College of Engineering and Computing in line with the university’s missions and goals. She earned her Bachelors’ degree in Broadcast Communication with a minor in English from Barry University (’99). She is a graduate of the Leadership Education Advancement Program (LEAP).

Sendi Brewster Assistant Director Women’s Center Sendi Brewster is currently the Assistant Director of the Women’s Center. In her role as Assistant Director, she oversees department operations across our two campuses including strategic planning,

program/event planning, assessment and reporting. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University (’11) and her Master of Science in Higher Education from Florida State University (’14). In addition to her role as Assistant Director, she teaches First Year Experience.

Sonia Hernandez Senior Marketing Manager Division of Academic and Career Success Sonia Hernandez is currently the Senior Marketing Manager for the Division of Academic and Career Success. In her role as Senior Marketing Manager, she is responsible for strategically developing

and leading the division’s marketing, branding and communication efforts. She earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and her Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University (’99) (’16). In addition to her role as Senior Marketing Manager, she teaches First Year Experience and a course on Career and Major Exploration.

Tiffany Berkshire Assistant Professor Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine Tiffany Berkshire is currently an Assistant Professor in the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from John B. Stetson University (’92); her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (’96); and her Master’s degrees in Public Health and Business Administration from Florida International University (’01)

(’09). She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. In addition to her role as Assistant Professor, she serves on the Academic Policies and Personnel Committee.

Tiziana Leoni Research Coordinator II College of Engineering and Computing Tiziana Leoni is currently a Research Coordinator II at the College of Engineering and Computing. In her role as Research Coordinator II, she assists the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Chair in

coordinating with Academic Support Services, Graduate Admissions and with the Graduate Program Director. She earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology for Individuals and Groups from La Sapienza in Rome (’98) (’03).

Veronica Diaz Senior Academic Advisor; Project Lead College of Arts, Sciences and Education Veronica Diaz is currently a Senior Academic Advisor at the College of Arts, Sciences and Education. In her role as Senior Academic Advisor, she provides guidance and support to help students achieve

their academic goals. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Social Studies Education and her Master of Science in Higher Education Administration form Florida International University (’04) (’14). She is currently working on her third degree from Florida International University: a Ph.D. in Global and Sociocultural Studies. She is also an adjunct instructor for the Department of Liberal & Interdisciplinary Studies, the Department of Global and Sociocultural Studies, and the Honors College.

Wendy Ordoñez Coordinator of Outreach and Educational Media Counseling and Psychological Services Wendy Ordoñez is currently Coordinator of Outreach and Educational Media in Counseling and Psychological Services. In her role as Coordinator of Outreach and Educational Media, she manages a team to conceive and implement multi-faceted University

prevention campaigns. She also serves at the Center’s liaison for faculty and staff in regard to awareness and prevention presentation and events. She earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and her Master of Arts in Teaching Art Education from Florida International University (’07) (’10). She’s also a practicing artist trained in Alla Prima painting.
