The Week That Went By:

With high volatility, Benchmark Index started the week on a negative note with a gap-down opening and continued to

trade lower. Following the global markets reversal, Indian markets too kicked off the day strongly followed by

domination by bears to close the Index lower. Hammering was seen in financial stocks while Nifty50 breached its

previous low. On the weekly expiry day, after a 500 points collapse , some recovery was seen but Index failed to hold

higher levels to end the trading session with a loss. Some relief was seen on the last trading day as Index bounced

sharply to end the day at the high point of the session.

Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd: The USFDA has conducted a scheduled inspection at the company’s general oral solid

formulation facility located at Panelav from 9th March, 2020 to 13th March, 2020 and is issued with a Form 483 with four

procedural observations. Furthermore, the company has received an EIR from the USFDA for the inspection carried out by them at

the API facility at Karakhadi during the period from 13th January, 2020 to 17th January, 2020

Snowman Logistics Ltd: Snowman Logistics has informed that a Global e-commerce giant has partnered with the company for

the delivery of FMCG perishables including vegetables, fruits, eggs, frozen food and groceries.

Srikalahasthi Pipes Ltd: The company has informed about commencement of commercial operations of 2nd furnace; marking the

completion of both the phases of Ferro Alloys Unit

ICICI Bank Ltd: The bank has informed that IFFCO Kisan Finance Ltd has allotted equity shares to the new investor .

Consequent to the said allotment, ICICI banks shareholding has been reduced to 7.4% from 9.9%

Some selective buying can be seen in good quality stocks. Buying momentum is likely to continue in Pharma and FMCG counters. One can expect market to move sideways till stability is established.

With a major cut of almost 20%, BankNifty was the underperformer of the week. Majority of the components ended the week with a loss in the range of 14%-23%. Indusind Bank was the top underperformer as stock tumbled over 45%.
