AT THE NORTH-WEST CORNER OF SIMKINS AND BUNCOMBE The Town of Edgefield is accepting sealed bids for the Purchase and Removal of the Building (former Medlock Law Office) at the North-West corner of Simkins and Buncombe Streets, Tax Parcel #137-02-01-014-000. This purchase does not include any additional outbuildings situated on said parcel and does not require the removal of existing foundation or step materials. The successful bidder must provide a Certificate of Insurance verifying general liability insurance coverage and Workers’ Compensation coverage, with the Town of Edgefield noted as an additional insured, within 5 days of the award of the bid. The successful bidder is responsible for obtaining all applicable permits and licenses. The successful bidder must remove the building from the site within 60 days from the award of the bid by Town Council. Sealed bids for the purchase of the building and its removal will be accepted at the Edgefield Town Hall at 400 Main Street, Edgefield, SC until 3:00pm on November 27, 2017, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
