Baptism - Class required for parents and godparents held the last Friday of month. Call the parish office two

weeks prior to schedule. Baptismal sacrament given the last Saturday of the month at 11AM or by arrangement.

Marriage - Please contact Fr. Basile Sede at least 6 months before the desired wedding date.

Anointing of the Sick - The primary effect of the Sacrament is a spiritual healing by which a person receives

the Holy Spirit’s gift of peace and courage to deal with the difficulties of serious or prolonged illness. Please call the parish office to request anointing.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament -Adoration of the blessed sacrament has been suspended

temporarily.

Christmas Pageant Information

To all parents of children ages 5 to 13 who are interested in participating in our Christmas pageant. Please sign them up on the signup sheet at the back of the church. The cutoff for signups is September 8th. Practices start September 15th, please prepare to stay with your child/children. Time is 1 to 2:30pm, Place is the Parish Life Center/gymnasium. Around the Diocese IS THIS YOUR YEAR? Couples married 25 or 50 years This year will be honored at an Anniversary Mass held on Sunday, November3, 2019 at St. John Neu-mann Catholic Church in Charlotte. Mass begins at 2:30pm and will be followed by a reception. Simply call our church of ice to be included. We do hope to see some of you there as you discern your pur-pose and mission as an active member of OLC Catholic Church. They do not get here without a little help from you! Our children need teachers of the Faith. People to mentor them, form them and teach them to love Christ. It began before they were born, God knew them before they were knitted in the womb. They get where God desires us all to be, in an intimate rela-tionship with HIM(HER), with the help of Parents, Family, Church, Community, Clergy, Teachers, Cate-chists and maybe just a little help from YOU. RCIA classes will begin on Wednesday September 18th. These classes are open to those who want to become Catholic, as well as those that want to learn more about their Catholic faith. Classes will meet every Wednesday at 7pm in the Boy Scout Room.
