The CIMON CM3-SB PLC is the newest addition to our PLC product line meant for robust applications requiring a limited amount of input and output. The CM3-SB PLC was developed to fill the needs of those looking for an economical yet powerful PLC. This PLC cannot expand beyond 8 inputs and 8 outputs, however it comes stock with a powerful ARM processor which offers the user over 400 ladder instructions for programming. This brick-type Programmable Logic Controller can auto-tune 32 PID channels for feedback compensation. With two high-speed counters integrated, the CM3-SB PLC can handle incoming pulse trains up to 20Kpps, making it perfect for encoder feedback. For your programming needs, a mini-USB port comes stock along with an RS232C and an option to replace the RS232C port with a RS485 port. The CICON programming utility is a cutting-edge ladder logic editing tool that is free to all customers. Unlike other manufacturers that require you to acclimate to a different programming environment from series to series CIMON PLCs all utilize CICON.
