Children were shown big mirror and were asked to seethemselves in it. They were asked to blink eyes, close ears,open mouth in front of the mirror and see their reflection.

Display of articles used for keeping ourselves andsurroundings clean. e.g. tooth brush, tooth paste, soap, nailcutter, broom, mop etc.

08/08/2015 Display of article used by family members :Different articles used by family members like clothes, toys,ornaments etc. were displayed. As it was face to face meetingparents along with children witnessed it.

21/08/2015 Display of Colours:Articles related to Primary colours were displayed. Childrenwere asked to recognise the colours.Game:Colour game was played by the children. Threecorners of colours were created and children were asked topick up the object of the instructed colour.

22/09/2015 Animals - Action Game :-Captain captain change the action- Children were shownmasks, pictures & puppets of animals and made them dodifferent actions, sounds etc. They also worn masks andacted.Lower K. G.

Game: ‘Khulja Ja Sim Sim’Articles related to family members used by them were kept ina bag. e.g. belt, bangle, bindi, toy etc.The bag was shown to the children and were asked to takeout any one article, name it and tell who uses it. It was fungiving activity for them and could differentiate the articlesused by different family members. Children were taken to thedifferent rooms of the school e.g. Principal’s office, Computerroom, library etc.

Children were introduced to the various persons working inthe school e.g. Principal, office staff, watchman, Gardneretc.Children were told the various role played by thesepeople.

08/08/2015 Display of animals :Models and flash cards of the Pet, Domestic & Aquaticanimals were displayed. Children were told about differentfeatures, habitats, babies, cries & uses of animals. Parentscame and saw the display. Parents even actively discussedabout the display with their children.

12/08/2015 Setting of curd, making butter milk & tasting it:Children were shown actual setting of curd. It was keptovernight and next day curd was shown to them. It waschurned in front of them and buttermilk was served to thechildren.

13/08/2015 Display of Milk and its products :Children were shown variety of milk products which weredisplayed in the class. Importance of milk, sources of milk etc.were discussed.

21/08/2015 Role Play of Animals :Children from all the three classes were dressed up in Pet,Domestic & Aquatic animals. They spoke few sentences aboutthe character they were dressed. Rhymes related to animalswere sung by the children.

10/07/2015 Different clay models of houses were made e.g. hut, igloo,tent, apartment, house boat and tree house, Children wereexplained about the material used for the construction e.g.bricks, iron, rods, sand, cement etc. The community helperswho play important role for construction of houses werediscussed e.g. mason, plumber, electrician etc.

Children were shown bore well in the school premises.Discussed how does bore well work and how it is useful tous.

Washing of dirty piece of cloth. Children were given dirtypieces of cloth and were told to wash it with the clean water.Importance of water was also discussed with them.

Concept : Full & EmptyFull glass of water and half glass of water was shown to thechildren to explain the concept.

14/08/2015 Independence Day:Detail information related to Independence Day was given tothe children. The importance of this festival was discussed.Children gave speech on Independence Day, NationalSymbols & our country India. Upper K.G. children presenteda song related to the celebration.

28/08/2015 Rakshabandhan:U.K.G. Children conducted the programme. They sharedtheir views about the festival. Songs were sung by musicteacher with children and teachers. Rakhi was tied toKrishnabhai and tika was done to the children on the wrist asa symbolic rakhi.

Lower K.G./Upper K.G. – Rangotsav colouring competition80 students took part. Ms.Patil Anushka (L.K.G.), Ms.Vaishnav Gargi & Ms. Thapa Reina (U.K.G.) securedappreciation price at National Level

JanmashtmiA skit was presented by teachers along with the children.Teachers performed dance. Bhajans, Krishna dhun was sung.

Ganesh Festival:Skit on Ganesh of ‘Gajamukhaand full moon day’ waspresented followed by Danceand “Ganpati Stotra” by UpperK.G. students.

elocution competition conducted by socleen Vadodara. Topicwas “I love music but don’t like D J System on the street at all.How can we stop them. He was guided by Ms. ManishaMehta.

13/09/2015 Mas. Sujal Sharma bagged of IV b Second prize at the Nationallevel Rangotsav Competition theme was drawing and coloringcartoon Mr. Sanket Joshi guided the students.

Parents as Partners a seminar was arranged by the P.T.A forthe parents of students of class X and IX respectively. It wasconducted by Suverchala Kashyap (Educationist) andMahrooqNabil Shamsi(Clinical Psychologist). The Seminar coveredaspects like : Time Management Motivation Importance of Studies Communication HealthIn the end Questionnaire session was held wherein parentshad at length discussed about their problems about theirwards and got solution to it.

22/08/2015 Thakur Mansi and Maji Sai Rahul Participated in ExtemporeCompetition Conducted by Paschim Hindi Prachar Samiti atDPS Harni Ms. Snehlata Dhiman guided them.

09/09/2015 Teacher Day was Celebrated in the school. Std X studentsimpersonated the head, the teachers and support staff. A skit,1speech was given regarding celebration of teachers day why itis celebrated a song was presented. Later on teachers and weresupport staff given cards and chocolates. The day ended bygrand lunch.

11/09/2015 Mas. Pragnesh Tambekar of class X participated in the statelevel Volley ball and was declared as runners-up.

13/09/2015 Mas. Jay Patel bagged Third prize in the drawingcompetition conducted by D.E.O’s office. Subject of thecompetition was Swachhata Abhiyan and Beti Bacho .Mr. Sanket Joshi guided the students.

15/09/2015 Mas. Shravan Gupta is selected in the D.S.O game(U-17)category for 100,200 and 400 meters race. He stood at the firstposition with minimum timings.

16/09/2015 Ms. Needhi Kadam participated in girls’ atheletics infollowing categories 200mtrs, 400mtrs and 600mtrs Whereinshe stood at 3rd and 1st position respectively. Further shewill be participating for the state level competition.

17/09/2015 Mas. Pragnesh Tambekar of class X participated in (U-17)Tennis Volley ball. He participated for the state leveltournament.

Our school Boys participated in (U-17) Phillip Memorialfootball tournament. They played against Rosary school.

01/07/15 Ms. Promila Zalpuri CCO. Had visited the school and talkedto the teachers. They were given planner for the year andteachers are supposed to use it and after fortnight she will beasking about the feedback of using folder.

Van Mahotsav week celebrated in our school.Children fromclassV to X were asked to plant seeds saplings in plasticbags,bottles and further they would be planted in the newschool building campus. 100 plants and trees like asopalav,Amla,Neem,Bamboo,Almond etc..,. also were plantedpurpose behind having this activity is to save the trees andbring awarness in the children about it.

24/07/2015 Our girls’ under-17 won kabbadi match under Makarpurazone at district level. 5 girls were selected for the furtherround.

competition conducted at Zenith School. Children wereguided by Music Teacher Mr. Illesh Unjhakar.

30/07/2015 Homage was paid to the departed past president Dr.A.P.J.Kalam during the assembly bhajan ’Raghupati Raghav RajaRam’ was sung and children lit candles.

31/07/2015 Gurupurnima celebration was conducted during assembly.Children presented a song followed by speech given by girl ofclass II and X. Mam was felicitated by the teachers.

02/08/2015 SOCLEEN youth wing had organized a nature walk for theyoung citizens of Vadodara Mas. Rathwa Siddharth, VaishnavHiten, and Patel Deep participated in the event Ms. RupinderKaur Ahuja, Ms.Vidya Madhu and Ms. Anjali Anandaccompanied the children.

04/08/2015 District Sports organized Kho-Kho, Kabaddi tournamentselection round at Juma dada ground. Our school boys team(U-14) played for both the events. 3 boys (U-14) are selectedfor Makarpura Zone in district level kabaddi tournament.

05/08/2015 District sports organized Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, and Volleyballtournament selection round at Juma dada ground. Our schoolboys team (U-17) played for makarpura zone in all threeevents. 3 boys (U-17) are selected for Kabbadi and 2 boys (U-17) are selected for Volleyball tournament for district leveltournament.

14/08/2015 Vikas Kala Drawing Competition was Conducted for theStudent of class I-IX Mr. Sanket Joshi guided students for theCompetition.

15/08/2015 69th Independence day wascelebrated in school. ShriPrabhudasbhai Patel Chiefguest of the occasion gaveinspiring speech and blessedthe children, and invites,Dr. Iyengar graced theoccasion motivated theinvitees.

20/08/2015 Our School boys participated in U-14 & U-17 footballtournament which was organized by District sports office.They played against Navrachna Vidhyani School.

22/08/2015 Geeta Chanting Semi-final round was conducted for thestudents of class I to X 10 judges tested the Pronunciation.diction and overall performance of the students. Studentschanted Shlokas of 15 adhayay on “Purshottam yoga”

23/08/2015 General body meeting was conducted. New P.T.A body wasintroduced in themeeting. Parentscame up with thesuggestionregarding F.A.Activities andschool timings.New staff memberswere introduced

26/08/2015 Mas. Shravan Gupta participated in the state level 100 metrerace at Gandhinagar and stood at the 3rdposition. In (U-17)cate Mrs. Helly Rana participated in Kabbadi tournament andnow will be attending the state level camp.

02/09/2015 Our school participated in Government Science Fair at nagarprathmic shala no -16 topic was “Rain Water Harvesting” twostudents Mas. Jay Upadhyay and Mas. Raj Patel prepared the

model. They were guided byScience teacher Ms. LubnaSandhi.

03/09/2015 Std I-IX are participated in Vikas Kala DrawingCompetition. Mr. Sanket Joshi guided the students.

Follow up session of “PARENTS AS PARTNERS” wasconducted for the students and their parents conducted byMs. Suverchala Kashyap and Ms. Maharookh Shamsi.

06/09/2015 ‘Bharat ko Jano’ exam was conducted in the schoolcampus.Students were devided into two categories. In juniorgroup 67 children participated and 47 appeared for seniorgroup. Two students from each group are selected forsecond level exam.

11/09/2015 Face to Face meeting with the parents of class I to X in theschool during zero period.

Exhibition of Ganesha in various moods was arranged bySanket Joshi art teacher in the event. They made Ganeshasusing various materials.

21/09/2015 World Peace Day was celebrated in our school. On thisocassion children from K.G to Std X took oath ofmaintaining world peace. Four students impersonated theinternationally famous Nobel Lauriates who advocated thepath of peace. They are Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela,Kailash Satyarthi and Malala Yusufzai. They quoted thethoughts of these personalities.

23/09/2015 Cyber Olympiad Exam was conducted for the students ofStd II to IX. 18 children participated in the exam.

Teacher Enhancement:16/09/2015 Paschimanchal Hindi Prachar Samiti conducted competition

for teacher. Ms. Neerja Sodhi Hindi teacher of our schoolbagged consolation prize. She wrote Laghu Katha and hertopic was “Mehnat ka Fal.”
