Solvent Dyes for Plastics Application
Resun Colour’s PLASTR Series Solvent Dyes are widely applied to the dyeing of various plastics
and petroleum products such as PS, AS, ABS, HIPS, PMMA, PET, PBT, PC, UPVC, RP, VC, PA, PP, PE
etc., as well as decoration materials, paints, printing inks, plastic colorant etc. It can also be applied
to the dyeing of thickeners for polyester fiber, acrylic fiber, polyvinyl chloride fiber etc. Solvent
dyes are with good solubility and miscibility in organic solvents, and can be used in single shade or
mixed in proportion. Solvent dyes are dissolved in plastic in molecular-distribution. The shade can
be adjusted in demand, Transparent color can be obtained in clear resin, while the un-transparent color with titanium pigment.

Fluorescent Pigments
AS Series Fluorescent Pigments
AS Series (also named RH Series) Fluorescent Pigments have superior brightness, high tinctorial strength and more fluorescent when
compared to other thermoplastic fluorescent pigments commercially available. AS Series Fluorescent Pigments are recommended for a wide
range of applications including aromatic hydrocarbons, vinyl plastisols, organisols, vinyl coated fabric and other plastics applications with
melt temperature below 190 degree. AS Series is also suitable in the coloring of the injection molding of ployolefins less than 190 degree.
Technical Data:
Specific Gravity (Density): 1.36g/cm3
Average Particle Size: 5-10 microns
Softening Point: 110C min.
Decomposition Point: 190C max.
DOP Absorption: 48g/100g max.
ZQ Series Fluorescent Pigments
ZQ Series Fluorescent Pigment features formaldehyde free, low mold plateout, melt-in, high tinting strength, excellent brightness.
ZQ Series increase plastic compatibility, fade resistance and excellent heat stability in injection molded plastics up to 300 degree.
Technical Data:
Specific Gravity (Density): 1.2g/cm3
Average Particle Size: 5-10 microns
Softening Point: 130C min.
Decomposition Point: 300C max.
Processing Temperature: 185C min.
DOP Absorption: 48g/100g max.

Note: ZQ Series are essentially non-toxic and contain no constituent heavy metals, safe to be applied in the finished product such as
toys to comply with currently available international regulations as below:
1. US ASTM F963:96a (4,3,5) Standard Consumer Safety Specification on Toy Safety.
2. EU European Standard on Safety of Toys, EN71
Remarks: Certain metal ions are known to cause color changes and loss of brightness with fluorescent Pigments. Plastic processing
additives containing free Zinc, Magnesium, Calcium and Ferro will cause deleterious color effects when used in a plastic resin system
containing AS and ZQ Series. If metal containing additives must be used, it is strongly suggested to be thoroughly tested for color
stability before using in bulk production.

Chrome Yellow & Molybdate Pigments Chrome Yellow Pigment is a chromate of lead and is similar to the lead salt PbCrO4 that occurs naturally as the mineral crocoite. It is obtained
synthetically as a yellow crystalline powder by precipitation from a solution of a lead salt (such as lead nitrate) and sodium chromate or
sodium dichromate, and is used as a pigment either alone or in mixture with other compounds. Chrome yellow pigments are among several
bright pigments with good hiding power that varies from light greenish yellow to reddish medium yellow.
Molybdate Red has formular 25PbCrO4.4PbMoO4.PbSO4 with bright color of orange red, this pigment has perfect tinting strength and can be
used in plastics and coating industries. Chrome Yellow pigments can be mixed with Molybdate Red in order to reach the desired shade
between red and yellow.

High Performance Inorganic Pigments (Mixed Metal Oxides) for Masterbatch
High performance inorganic pigments (also named Mixed Metal Oxides) are crystallized color compounds in solid solution produced
by the calcinations of two or more kinds of metal oxides including, Co, Cr, Fe, Cd, Se or other transition metal elements at high
temperature. This type of pigments has a stable crystalline structure of rutile or spinel which provides outstanding properties in heat
resistance, weather resistance and other chemical resistance. This type of pigments has very high performance as the colorants in
plastics and masterbatch industry. Cadmium pigments have Cadmium as the main chemical components with shade ranging from
yellow to red by increasing contents of Selenium added.
