Eager to get on the mission field they both have been very supportive of this ministry and planning the projects that are ahead of them when they get to Sudan. The home is located not far from the Entebbe Airport. It has 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bath- rooms with a view that is just breathtaking. We had been praying for a place where missionaries could be at peace and be able to commune with the Lord in an atmosphere designed by the Creator. It is for missionaries that are travelling to and from their home bases that need a place to relax and refresh, instead of booking a hotel room, you can stay here and use those resources for the mission field. Worship Leaders Help ACTNIM When we spoke to Minister Patricia Mujungu about the idea of opening a Bible Training Center and having a class focusing on praise and worship, she quickly said, I have a few close friends that may be interested”, we didnt think she knew people that had the same heart about praise and worship that we did and were willing to help in anyway they could. We called a meeting at the Carebear Home in hopes to have a few people stop by. Low and behold, the Whos, Who of praise and worship in Kampala showed up. What are the chances of that hap- pening; our God is awesome. We prayed, broke bread and sang. It was done; everyone was in agreement and ready to do whatever they could to make it hap- pen. So in March of 2017, ACTNIM will open a Bible Training Center, that will provide free training to those that qualify through the appointing of their pas- tors to receive training. At the present a building is in the process of being se- cured we will need materials and of course instructors. Our prayer is that those that believe in their hearts that they are up to the task is welcome to join the team to do their part. As part of the Bridging the Gap Initiative, ACTNIM is actively working with this

agency to help see that children grow up in a family atmosphere, that will pro-

mote positive living and outcomes that will enhance the quality of life for a child

in Uganda. More information will be in our April Newsletter.

Fulfilling

the Promises of God

This year the promises of

providing for the children at the

schools in Uganda, brings great

joy to not only the children, but

the people that hold their inter-

ests so near and dear to their

hearts. Bishop James Mugoban-

songa partners with others to

provide a quality education and

living environment to more

than 200 children. He is assist-

ed by Pastor Joel Twesige and

his wife Prosy at the Tusuubira Day & Boarding Primary School and Paul Sebya-

la at the Bunjanko Primary School. ACTNIM is campaigning for the needs of the

schools this year, by supporting them with resources necessary to succeed. The

men and women that love on these children, do so many wonderful things to see

that each child is nurtured, loved and cared for in so many special ways. Here

Pastor Deborah is blessing the Twesige’s to aide their work towards the chil-

dren.

Suffolk Public Schools Teacher of the Year

Ariane Williams has been named the 2016 High School Teacher of the Year

for Suffolk Public Schools. A 14-year classroom veteran, she teaches Eng-

lish at Lakeland High School. She has been applauded by her colleagues as

diligent, thoughtful and gracious. This year, Williams stepped forward as

senior class sponsor. Principal

Douglas Wagoner said, “the pa-

tience she demonstrates is sincere

by always limited by appropriate

boundaries. Her blend of love and

toughness reaches her students

and creates an environment

where students can and do learn.”

Williams shared in her applica-

tion: “I believe that building a

great rapport with my students and parents means I must have an open

line of communication. I must be willing to make adjustments. I must be

willing to listen. Although my classroom is firm, there is a sense of free-

dom in my class that gives students the room to learn from their own mis-

takes, accept responsibility, make wise decisions and monitor their own

growth.”

Outside of school, Williams is active in her church’s mission work, drama

team, and praise dance. She is a published author of the book,

“Images of Destiny.” The senior pastor at Restoration Christian Church

said she “possesses remarkable versatility in that she can transition from

instructing teens and children, to providing insightful teaching to adult

leaders as well.”

Williams earned her bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University, and

her master’s degree from Norfolk State University. (This article was origi-

nally published on Facebook—March 2016)

When The Lord Called Me

My name is Patricia Mujungu, some of you may not know me, I am a Minister of

Praise and Worship and a member of the ACTNIM staff, and this is my story.

I bless the Lord who gave me a call to quit

working with a music label a year ago as a

gospel artist, because of what He was

about to do with me as a Gospel Praise and

Worship Minister .

I realized there is a lot of entertainment in

church, people come in and leave the same

because they have not learned to draw

near to the Father and learn to use God's

ordained strength in their mouth to praise

and worship God and sing out His praises , Matthew 21:15 & Psalms 8:2 .

Learning to adore God worshiping is very important in this race. God is looking

for a man and woman that will worship Him in the truth and in the spirit and

the enemy is using all sorts of distractions to silence the ordained strength to

praise & worship in the children of God. Because our Father abides/ lives in

the praises of His people. God has called out every thing that has breath to

praise Him, He has called us past entertainment, past our situations.

Psalms 149:5-6 says let the saints be Joyful in glory let them sing aloud on

there beds , even on our beds there a sound of praise that can still raise to God.

I bless God for ACTNIM for the great work of our Lord Jesus Christ that is being

done here in Uganda and for the Bible Training Center that is yet to start. A lot

of us church ministers serving lack bible training, it will be a privilege to a lot of

minsters acquiring free training to go back and impact different communities .

And the Praise and Worship Department that I will be privileged of God to be

the blessing that will head and teach the Praise and Worship classes.

I strongly believe that this school is going to impact church leaders. I know that

if a church musical minister sits down and learns how to focus in worship they

will go back and impact there church choirs to focus on God in praise & worship

than any thing else, and when true praise and worship gets to God He comes

and dwells in His people that will destroy the chains the enemy is using to blind

God's people in church.

It's an honor that God has called all of us to praise and worship him because in

Heaven where all of us want to be that's all that is done there .

Lately I am on a move for God working together with different churches in com-

munities, we take a month time coming together weekly to prepare with singers

and musicians, sharing and learning to lift our spirit to focus and exalt God rais-

ing the ordained strength in us to praise and worship God. On the 3rd of April

we shall sing and rejoice with a praise and worship experience. We shall be at

the City Church in Kampala, we are blessed to have your prayers and support.

To God Be The Glory.

Making Ministry Connections

Making connections through ministry is

often times how we make those long dis-

tances between congregations even

shorter. We are happy to make a connec-

tion with the ministry of “New Hope,

Church of God” in Kampala, Uganda,

where Pastor Gerald Luyiada and wife

Margret are the head of the church. This

church is an extension of the “New Hope

Church of God” in Maryland, which is pas-

tored by Dr. Aaron Jones. Pastor Deborah and I have had the opportunity to vis-

it with them in their home and they in ours. A wonderful couple that are full of

joy and happiness. We recently had the chance to assist them in setting up a

skype line to make communications easier for them to keep in touch with their

counterparts in the U. S. The Luyiada’s have a daughter, she and her husband

live in Maryland.
