failing to save him in a hostage situation.

JACKSON IS WORKING A NEW CASE, AND AT THE FIRST CRIME SCENE HE DISCOVERS HIS OWN DNA ON THE

DECEASED VICTIM. HE HAS BEEN FRAMED. JACKSON GOES TO HIS TRUSTED FRIEND CHARLIE TO CONFIRM THE

FRAMING AND REALISES HE MUST NOW GO ON THE RUN.

apparently survived the hostage situation and is now planning revenge

on Jackson for not avenging his supposedly deceased partner.

Homeless, dark costume. Rough looking, in his 20’s.

NOW DIAGNOSED MENTAL ILLNESS HE HAS BEEN BLAMING HIS DECEASED OLD PARTNER MARK STEEL.

‘Bill Barnes’The father of Sarah Barnes but also the chief of police. Sometimes gets angry at

daughter for looking up to Jackson as Bill despises him for his style of work and lack of self-respect. Thinks highly

of himself and very judgmental.

Dominant power in the police department.

Mature, experienced. Always wears a sharp suit.

Always has power in any situation. Short temper.

NEW EQUILIBRIUM

THE REST OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT IS SYMPATHETIC TOWARDS JACKSON AND WANTS THE BEST FOR HIM, BUT

JACKSONS MIND TELLS HIM THAT HE DESERVES LIFE IN PRISON FOR BREAKING UP HIS MARRIAGE AND BEING A

MURDERER, SO KILLS SARAH BARNES TO LOOK EVEN MORE VILLANOUS AND TURN EVERYONE AGAINST HIM. HE IS

SENTENCED TO LIFE, WHICH HE TELLS HIMSELF HE DESERVES.

Jackson’s undiagnosed mental illness plays a large part in his motives, to the point that his own mind convinces him to go on the run from the police and try

to turn in Mark Steel himself.
