CAREER HISTORY Claims & Planning Engineer Feb 2016 - Present Mott McDonald Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. Project       : “Construction of New Islamabad International Airport Pakistan” Salient Features           : “New Islamabad International Airport Pakistan will be the first greenfield airport in Pakistan and the first to support the landing of Airbus A380. Build on an area of 3,289 acres, the project consists of 90 check‐in counters and a parking facility for 2,000 vehicles and will cater to upward of 10 million people every year in its first phase and up to 25 million in the second phase. The terminal includes 15 gates with ten remote gates, a four‐star hotel, duty‐free shops, two runways, six taxiways, food court and 42 immigration counters. It is being built on more than 3200 acres of land and consists of a passenger terminal building, 2 runways (28L/10R, 28R/10L), taxiways, apron and parking bays for wide body aircraft. There will also be a cargo terminal, air traffic control complex, fuel farm, as well as a fire, crash and rescue facility. It would be equipped to handle all types of aircraft including the new generation aircraft such as the Airbus A380, Boeing 747‐8 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The airport

will have a 180,000m² modular terminal building which will initially be able to handle 9 million passengers and 80,000 metric tons cargo per annum. The numbers are expected to reach 15 million passengers by 2019 and increase to 25 million passengers by 2024. Being a new airport, a significant portion of the land has been earmarked for commercial purposes such as duty‐free shops, hotel and convention center, air malls, business center, food courts, leisure and recreational facilities. 

As Claims & Planning Engineer, my duties are 

Prepare and update project schedule based on the contract. 

Set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan. 

Monitor critical activities based on the project schedule and advise project management. 

Prepares and submit updated work program and cash flow curve showing actual progress and identify areas of weakness and establishes means and methods for recovery, if any, as well as new critical activities. 

Maintain and record update of site work progress obtained from Project Manager. 

Prepares monthly report reflecting work progress summary. 

Report to the Project Manager about the current work progress and make comparison between plan and actual progress and study impact of alternative approaches to work. 

Participate in project meetings and discussions with the Client as required. 

Prepare extension of time (EOT) and delay analysis.  

Review Contractor delay claims for substantiation.  

Liaise with Commercial Team and Planning Team and exchange information.  

Prepare frag net schedules as required.

Project        : “Project Shaheen‐Hair Care, Proctor & Gamble Pakistan Port Qasim‐Karachi” Salient Features           : “Project Shaheen Hair Care (Proctor & Gamble Pakistan, Port Qasim‐Karachi) is a new Plant to build localizes Hair Care products manufacturing. This project includes construction of Hair products making systems, packing systems, Utilities systems, Warehouses, Laboratories, and Facilities. Construction of Hair Care plant for production of P&G hair care products like Head& Shoulder , Pantene shampoo e.t.c It has approx. 0.1 Million Sq. feet area”

Review schedule sheets from respective disciplines ‐ HSE, Facilities, Making, Packing, Utilities, Start‐up etc and identify  all opportunities
