Chris marks off his calendar until the day he has awaited for so long has come. Chris is meeting Sally at her house, he knocks on the door and goes inside. They start talking and Chris starts to caress her as he touches her leg. As he goes up her leg, his face drops to realize that she has a male private part. After he realizes, she tries to kiss me over the table. Genre: Comedy Reason for Genre: We chose comedy for our film genre as it was different and more of a challenge for our group. As the rest of the groups are doing more adventurous actions. We thought of making it simple and comical as simple dialogues in Bridget Jones make the film comical. Target Audience: Our target audience is 15 and over, this is because we found that many 15 year olds go to the cinema with their peers and are more likely to watch it. Also, in our film, we have inappropriate scenes which are not suitable for people under 15 as they may be influenced by these actions featured in the film. Publishing Suggestions:

Group: CKG Productions

Project Name: Chris and Sally

Genre: Comedy

Storyline: Chris goes on a dating site to find a partner. He talks to a girl on the site and takes her number. He asks to see her but she declines as she is too shy and is insecure. He carries on to talk to her and they make final date on which they can meet.

Genre: Comedy

Reason for Genre: We chose comedy for our film genre as it was different and more of a challenge for our group.

Publishing Suggestions: We will publish our film on YouTube, FaceBook and Twitter as our target audience is known for using social networking sites to access videos and images, so this would be easy access for them to see our film and for them to give a review as it would be easier to write a constructive comment.

Comparable Products: We have decided to compare our film with Catfish: The Movie. We chose Catfish, as it would go against the codes and conventions for a comedy film. Also, Catfish is a serious film as it is about a person falling in love with an unknown person and then confronts them in

person. However, by changing this into a comedy, it makes our film more unique.

Another film we compared with is Bridget Jones, as they have comical dialogue, such as; the voicemail, as we will be using something similar in our film to make it more comical.

Rationale behind our script: Our initial idea behind the script was about a man who has no good luck, which relates to catfish as the victim is normally betrayed. Initially with this idea we could not think of a comical ending as we thought it was too serious and depressive. So by changing it to catfish, it made it easier for us to think of an ending as in Catfish, the ending is unpredictable so we had more idea for an ending.

How will we test how successful our product is? We will test whether our product is successful through the results of the post questionnaire and the response from the social networking sites. This would be beneficial as we could reach out to our target audience through social media sites, as this age group is commonly known for using such sites.

Overt message: The obvious message is to be careful when talking to people you are not aware. This is important, as this is a serious issue shown through a comedy film. It is important that people are aware of this message, as it would be creating awareness.

Covert Message:The covert message is to be careful when using social media sites/dating sites, as rushing on the sites can cause mistakes, which can affect your life.

Resource Constraints: Some of the constraints in our production would be getting the actor to turn up on time and so that we can get as much filming done as possible done in a certain amount of time so that the lighting does not dim down. Another constraint would be getting the equipment as other groups may want the equipment and if we do not get it, it would delay our production time as we have a deadline.
