As a matter of fact, from 18th- 20th c., Britain has established

British Empire accomplished thus a major goal - among others:

• Britain has had a land area of only 245.000 km2. A big percentage of the population spread in an area of 510.000.000 km2, which is planet’s whole surface, has found an outlet to

solve all kinds of severe socio-economic problems

• Economic growth has also helped the creation of the

‘welfare state’

planet Earth : unique, particular & unrepeatable

Page 13: Planet Earth: unique, particular, u-n-r-e-p-e-a-t-a-b-l-e 2013

Britain has been able to accomplish that pioneering task because:

1. The size of the territory about to be conquered was already known. A WORLD MAP has been designed long ago.

2. Positive or negative circumstances about to be confronted were, more or less, familiar.

3. Transportation means (vessels) and defense equipment (weapons etc) for, more or less, known dangers have been invented long ago.

4. Big percentage of the population agreed with that expansion because its interests matched colonialism interests - more or less...

No!- that’s why:

Page 19: Planet Earth: unique, particular, u-n-r-e-p-e-a-t-a-b-l-e 2013

Humanity, unlike Britain, cannot accomplish Universe colonization … just because:

1. Universe size is infinite; its content is unknown in the biggest part. The map of the universe is based on cosmological assumptions, not to mention complete absence of clear destinations…

2. Positive or negative circumstances to be confronted are unknown to the biggest percentage…

3. No transportation means (spaceships) or defense equipment (security systems, weapons etc) are produced to face dangers - unknown to their biggest percentage…

4. The majority of planet’s population is against proposed adventure because its interests do not match at any point with the interests of those promoting the… project; but, mainly, because the project itself is against any common sense due to the reasons mentioned above - and not only…

• Are 7-8 billions people going to emigrate to the Universe?

• Or… alternatively, are those billions going to just watch on TV or via Internet and applause or blast (…off), depending the circumstances, NASA or private entities?

DIVERSION, THE PRIMARY STRATEGYExperience has proven that the simplest method of gaining control of the public is to keep the public undisciplined and ignorant of basic systems principles on the one hand, while keeping them

confused, disorganized, and distracted with matters of no real importance on the other hand

This is achieved by: (1) Disengaging their minds, sabotaging their mental activities, by providing a low quality program of public education in mathematics, logic, systems design, and economics, and by discouraging technical creativity. (2)

Engaging their emotions, increasing their self-indulgence and their indulgence in emotional and physical activities, by: (a) unrelenting emotional affrontations and

attacks (mental and emotional rape) by way of a constant barrage of sex, violence, and wars in the media - especially the T.V. and the newspapers. (b)

giving them what they desire - in excess - "junk food for thought" and depriving them of what they really need. (3) Rewriting history and law and subjecting the

public to the deviant creation, thus being able to shift their thinking from personal needs to highly fabricated outside priorities. These preclude their

interest in and discovery of the silent weapons of social automation technology. The general rule is that there is profit in confusion; the more confusion, the more

profit. Therefore, the best approach is to create problems and then offer the solutions.

DIVERSION SUMMARY MEDIA: Keep the adult public attention diverted away

from the real social issues, and captivated by matters of no real importance.

SCHOOLS: Keep the young public ignorant of real mathematics, real economics, real law, and real history.

ENTERTAINMENT: Keep the public entertainment below a sixth grade level.

WORK: Keep the public busy, busy, busy, with no time to think; back on the farm with the other animals.

However, first things first: What is ‘coincidence’?

It’s agreement; coexistence. Want more synonyms? Accompaniment,  accord, accordance, collaboration, concomitance, concurrence, conformity, conjunction,

consonance, correlation, correspondence,  parallelism, synchronism. Even antonyms give a more clear picture: clash,  deviation, difference, disagreement, divergence, mismatch

Coincidence is an event that might have been arranged although it was really accidental. A situation where two phases of equal composition coexist in a multicomponent system. This is an univariant assemblage in a system of any number of components, even though the number of phases is smaller than expected for a variance of one because of the additional restriction(s) of equal ... www.gps.caltech.edu/~asimow/glossary.html

Finally, what is a… ‘cosmic coincidence΄?

Cosmic coincidence s examples:Total eclipses of the Sun : Total solar eclipses are rare events.

Although they occur somewhere on Earth every 18 months on average,it has been estimated that they recur at any given place only once every 370 years, on average. The total eclipse only lasts for a few minutes at that location, as the Moon's umbra moves eastward at over 1700 km/h. Totality can never last more than 7 min 31 s, and is usually much shorter: during each millennium there are typically fewer than 10 total solar eclipses exceeding 7 minutes.

A Little Book of Coincidence … suggests that there may be fundamental relationships between space, time, and life that have not yet been fully understood. From the observations of Ptolemy and Kepler to the Harmony of the Spheres and the hidden structure of the solar system, John Martineau reveals the exquisite orbital patterns of the planets and the mathematical relationships that govern them. A table shows the relative measurements of each planet in eighteen categories, and three pages show the beautiful dance patterns of thirty six pairs of planets and moons.

Earth-Sun Distance Life in order to flourish needs a stable star for a… father; able to produce enough and stable energy quantity with no sudden changes for billions of years; a star from which it would keep the suitable safety distance, not too close neither too far away.

The Earth, as a whole, has twelve different movements (4 main ones, 8 secondary) which science has been able to analyze, and of which the effects have been studied and the causes discovered

1. Movement of rotation Effects: day & night succession; many climate parameters are relevant

2. Movement of revolution around the Sun. Effects: succession of seasons

3. Helical motion: It follows solar system’s spiral rotation along the Galaxy

4. Galaxy motion: It follows Galaxy’s along its great journey together with all other galaxies

Quite an unique combination…CSR/Climate actions © Metis Accredited Observer to the UNFCCC

Atmosphere: another element of planet’s particular nature

A habitable planet needs an atmosphere with a concrete gas analogy. Earth’s atmosphere is mainly composed of oxygen and azote protecting it by solar radiation elements. It is unusual both in composition and abundance unlike other planets elementary ‘gas pouches’.

Earth’s atmosphere, assisted by Jupiter gravity, is protecting the planet from meteors.

Enriched by a pressure equal to 105Ρa (=1000mb) and average temperature of 30 degrees sound, and consequently, speech and songs transmission is highly favored. The latter are very precious components for civilization development

Another coincidence is ozone percentage. Although ozone is a kind of ‘enriched oxygen’, is poisonous to humans. It is less than an one millionth of the atmosphere. Its layer is so thin so that in case it could be all gathered, it would form a ring of a shoe sole depth around Earth. In case of more ozone life problem would have been arisen for Earth. In case of less, it wouldn’t be able to filter dangerous solar radiations. Just imagine what happens now that ozone layer is already problematic.

The Moon Yet another unique feature of… Earth. Always an anomaly

with its mass to 1/80 compared to Earth mass, too big for satellite. Earth owns moon its balanced climate with those four seasons. Its ideal angle inclination is due to moon’s gravity.

Earth's moon stabilizes our planet's rotation, preventing drastic movements of the polesthat could cause massive changes in climate that some scientists think could have doomed any chance for budding life to form or evolve.

The moon also helpfully pulls the ocean's tides, which scientists suggest might have been the perfect place for early life to begin evolving to survive on land.

The Moon It’s size is much bigger than expected for a satellite around Earth. It has helped Earth’s axis inclination stabilize at about 23 degrees. This stable inclination helps the planet keep stable temperature on its surface – another vital life development prerequisite. Keeping this inclination earth makes a full rotation round its axe every 24 hours.

Moon’s… creation, due to a collision of a meteor in the size

of Mars with Earth seems it happened in a ‘magic’ moment. Just in the ‘right’ time and just in the proper way which helped the development of a situation many billion years later we humans enjoy. Collision’s leftovers have been concentrated to form the moon in that particular location

The moon…due to an undefined but inexplicable, but anyway

unique reason, is located more away than expected from its hosting planet, unlike other any satellite in this solar system. This safety distance prevents Earth from destruction by ebb and flood forces. In case this distance is reduced moon will be destroyed. However, this will never happen. Moon’s average distance is 21 times the distance which could cause a problem.

There exist some very narrow ‘habitable zones’ in each solar system - very few though. Earth happens to be in such a zone.

Distances are not at all stable. During the last 4 billion years sun’s blaze has been increased by 30%; as a result the habitable zone has moved far more away. In this narrow zone – ‘tube’, inside which the planet travels, water is only conserving liquid form on planet’s surface - this being a vital prerequisite for life. In our solar system this zone boundaries reach from 5% the nearest to 15% the far distant: that means its size is much more narrow than usual; however Earth has found there a place to exist. Odds for a planet to remain in that zone for as much time as it is necessary for life to develop are very few; however, … unnaturally for yet another time, Earth managed to stay there as long as needed.

Τhe soil… is yet another particular feature: Planet’s

external cortex where various life forms life and flourish, this thin cover of the biologically active material has a thickness ranging from

only a few centimeters to 2-3 meters maximum. An average handful of fertile soil is very probable to contain up to six billion of microorganisms!

It’s the only active planet with so intense geological activity. Earthquakes and volcanoes’ eruptions change constantly its situation. Lithosphere contains water and tectonic plates. These plates is another unique feature. They have contributed in the formation of mountains and oceans trench and the separate continents. They also

played a vital role in keeping water on planet’s surface. Earth’s crust gets destroyed and recreated all the time. It’s a never ending birth, a really astonishing travel of continents .

The water

Earth is the only planet which could boast of having unmeasurable amounts of liquid water, literally scarred by water shaping the ground. Waves for shores, rivers formulate riverbeds and valleys, glaciers, mountains. It’s the unique planet of the solar system with seas. Water is also contained in the clouds under the form of icicles.

The water

The liquid form of surface water is due to suitable temperature of a planet. This has to do with the distance the planet has from the sun. For life to flourish an abundant quantity of water is needed. . No one knows why Earth has the exact amount of water it does, which is relatively small considering that water molecules outnumber silicate molecules in the galaxy

The water

Earth's water is also special in that it has remained liquid for so long. How has Earth been able to hold on to its oceans while those on other planets freeze or fry? Our planet's Goldilocks-like "just right" location in the solar system has helped, as has its system of plate tectonics ? the slip-sliding movements of Earth's crust that are thought to have created the planet's towering mountain ranges and plummeting ocean depths.

Earth’s structureEarth’s rotation around its axis provokes the production

of electric currents. These currents in combination with planet’s iron core create the magnetic field. A ‘gigantic bubble’ is formed thus in the neighboring part of the universe called magnetosphere protecting earth from the

‘solar’ wind - a flow of molecules originated from the sun

The presence of a gigantic planet near - by

For life to exist many more astronomical favorable coincidences have to happen. Among these is the presence of a gigantic planet acting as a gravity shield against comets and asteroids. This is Jupiter.

The presence of our big brother planet, Jupiter, farther out in the solar system blocking Earth from much of the incoming debris, has also helped Earth become a safe haven for life. Jupiter acts like a giant broom, sweeping the solar system of debris (rocks as small as cars and as huge as moons) that could snuff out life in one fatal blow. This protective effect was particularly helpful in the solar system's early years, when Earth still got pummeled but, scientists say, not nearly as bad as would have been the case without Jupiter.

Another "just-right" aspect of Earth is its size: If it was much smaller, it wouldn't be able to hold on to our precious atmosphere, but much larger and it might be a gas giant too hot for life.

Last but NOT least: NATURE CIVILIZATION Although the term is already mentioned it has to be repeated independently as one additional but most important coincidence combining several extraordinary features. From nature and science’s point of view it’s impossible to all coincidences presented before to coincide for yet another time in order to ‘build’ another planet which will ‘cultivate’ along billions of years all those favorable circumstances for the development of such abundance of flora and fauna in a similar environment of air and water; in addition, it’s also impossible among so many species one to develop in such a degree so that it reaches the spiritual and technological level of human civilization of those last millenniums - and not of these last decades…

Nature Civilization is referring to flora, fauna and minerals complex systemic level of the planet. This level is unique, particular and unrepeat- able - as far our knowledge is concerned. Human Civilization’s structural elements, from general ones (e.g. high level of culture, industry,  technology,  division of labor, founding of cities’, progress in agriculture, long-distance trade, occupational specialization, developed transportation system, complex political and social institutions, writing, standardized measurement, currency, , contractual and legal systems, usually a common language, usually a geographic locale, characteristic art and architecture, mathematics, enhanced scientific understanding, to some almost… naive but still ‘scientific’ ones (e.g. including even money collected through taxes, a privileged ruling class, a centralized government and a national priestly class). However, infrastructure of various kinds (i.e. IT infrastructure) is the most holistic structural element that satisfies the needs and wants of human civilization.

Comparing all the above with Nature’s equivalent quantities, the latter is superior to all. In most cases this is apparent. In some others it’s not, e.g. Nature’s IT infrastructure cases like Blue Tits able to culturally transmitting learning to other Tit species; the Hundredth monkey effect, etc.

"I doubt that in our galaxy typical stars have planets just like Earth around them," Brownlee said. "I'm sure there are lots of planets in the galaxy that are somewhat similar to Earth, but the idea that this is a typical planet is nonsensical."

However Brownlee's view may be in the minority.

It is a unique planet (= that means… one of a kind);

Particular (= in positive features); Unrepeatable (that means it’s not possible

for another similar planet to be created) with life, complex life, intelligent life, Nature civilization, humans, and human civilization
