• What’s happened since the last Stakeholder Mee3ng? – Launch of new Plan Vivo Standard – Trustee & Secretariat changes – Mikoko Pamoja, Himalayan CCP projects registered – 2 million tonne milestone reached – Tanzania, Mexico, Uganda, Nicaragua, Indonesia, Nepal – project visits – Events: C. Expo (Cologne, Barcelona), Natl Offset Scheme (Colombia), PES Workshop
(Indonesia), Inseing Event (London), ESPA Workshop (Uganda) – New website, project brochure
• Con3nued oversight of 12 registered projects
• Addi3onal 41 projects in development: – Kolo Hills (Tanzania), 3 FFI projects: Laman Satong, Durian Rambun, Lombok

What is ‘Inseing’ for Plan Vivo?
• An approach which strengthens links between (smallholder) farmers and buyers typically along procurement chains

• REDD+ slightly up from $4.2/t to $4.3/t, but considered “oversupplied”

How does Plan Vivo compare?
Plan Vivo projects con1nue to grow: • 16% rise in volume transacted in 2014 to 386,000 tCO2
• Average price rose from $6.5 to $8.5/t -‐ well over double market avg, and the highest average price of all major standards (except few voluntary JI CDM)
• Market share stable, but plenty of room to grow at c.1%
Gold Std: • Volume: 8.9 MtCO2 (2014), down from $9.3MtCO2 (2013) and $9.5MtCO2 (2012)
• Average price fell from $8.5 to $4.4/t – (reduced demand for wind and clean cook stoves)
VCS • Volume: 32.8 MtCO2e (19.1 MtCO2e alone / 12.6 MtCO2e with CCB)
• Average total VCS price in 2014: $3.5/t (for all 32.8MtCO2e) up from $2.8/t in 2013 (28.9MtCO2e)
