give public lecture on University

of Indonesia. This news has

become a hit since last few days.

Almost all of the students talk

about the news. Twitter timeline

also full with probability about his

coming.

Now Plan Politika meets 50 UI’s student and ask whether they are pro or con on Obama’s coming.

He gives the moral or material support for all victims of disaster in Indonesia

Insights• Most of them are don’t mind for Obama’s coming but

still, they don’t see the exact purpose of his coming.• Many supports for Obama’s coming is not for hearing the

lecture, but caused by the free days they’ll get. • Some of them think that his coming is over-rated. • They are confuse for what kind of benefit will Indonesia

have.• Maybe he’s the right man, but really not in the right

time.

Questions existed• What Change does Obama would make by visiting

UI?• They called it Public Lecture, but the students can’t

go to college and get two days off. What public then?

• After 2 visits being cancelled before, why should he come now? When Indonesia still striving for these natural disasters.
