T asks S to listen to a story and after complete the name of
the characters. Then T asks Ss to open the books at page
105 and read and translate the sentences. Then T reads the

Peter) bought.

5 Presentation T. Asks Ss what they use to buy things -> money and asks them what is the money used in Romania ->leu/lei. T
explains that in England people buy things with pounds

T gives Ss a handout with English money (coins/monede
and notes/bancnote; change=rest) and reads the types of
money aloud with the students.
T writes Ct cost? = How much is(1 item)/are(2+items)? on the Bb and asks Ss to repeat after her a few examples. T and Ss write the examples.

assistant.

their price on them and papers that represent money.
The Customer chooses an item and the Shop assistant has
the same image with the price on it. He tells the customer
the price and if the customer agrees, she/he gives the
money to the shop assistant and says Here you have Thank you/ I will not buy it, Thank you. Good bye/good bye

The Story:
Jane and Peter go shopping.
Jane says: I like the yellow tracksuit! Can I try it on?
The shop Assistant says: Yes, you can go to the changing room.
She tries it on, but the tracksuit is too large for Jane.
The shop assistant says: We have the tracksuit in a smaller size.
Peter wants to buy a jacket, but the shop assistant has only red jackets.
Peter says: I dont like red jackets! I would like a sweatshirt or better still a black anorak. The shop Assistant: Oh, the sweatshirt is 8 pounds and the anorak is 20 pounds.
Peter says: Oh, the anorak is expensive but the sweatshirt is cheap!
Jane: I want to also buy a pair of trainers, but they are so expensive.
Finally, Jane and Peter buy a tracksuit and a sweatshirt.
