Los Amigos de Valles Caldera will once againbe helping the Valles Caldera National Pre-serve to thin over-grown, forested areas toprotect it from further large wildfires. Thesefreshly cut trees will be available at the ValleGrande Staging Area, off Highway 4 betweenmile marker 39 and forty, for four weekends,starting on the Friday after Thanksgiving,November 27. We will be there on Saturdaysand Sundays thereafter (November 28-29,December 5-6, December 12-13, and Decem-ber 19-20), from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. eachday.

The trees will generally be White Fir ofvarying sizes from about four to 12 feet. Sug-gested donations will be between $25 and $35dollars—cash or check only.
