B.Tech Automotive Design Engineering

The post graduate programs offered by UPES are customized to the requirements of the industry. A

balanced approach has been followed while designing these programs, so that the students can

develop both academic and application strengths in their chosen domains. UPES encourages and

initiates continuous feedback from the industry experts and practicing Management Professionals in

making its programs globally competitive.

The B.Tech Automotive Design Engineering (ADE) program offered by UPES is designed to meet the

needs of the 21st century automotive industry. The program helps equip students on a range of topics

including designing of an automobile, production and manufacturing, repair and maintenance,

including its on-road adaptability and knowledge about the related aspects of the transportation

sector, energy & environmental concerns, application of petroleum & alternative fuels, etc.

The delivery methodology comprises a rich mix of lectures, guest lectures, interactive group work,

presentations, discussions, tutorials, live projects, summer internships and directed self study.

Students’ knowledge of the theory and practice is further supplemented with frequent interactions

with Industry leaders as well as policy framers in the form of industry visits and

guest lectures.

The students of B.Tech ADE are also members of SAE India Collegiate Club which organizes variety of

technical activities during the semester. This club is associated to the Society of Automotive Engineers

(SAE) International, USA.

Gearing Up For Higher Growth.
