Subject Neck ring alignment tool for improved neck ring alignment Rev. 2 On January 3, 2012, a global standard for set-up and alignment came into

effect. See page 2 for details. Products Affected All cavity and core lock molds. Description A new neck ring alignment tool has been designed to improve neck ring

alignment. This tool must be used whenever neck rings are being installed or when realignment is required. The tool will hold the neck ring in the proper position while the neck ring bolts are tightened. Tightening the neck rings without this tool will cause the neck ring to turn creating misalignment and mismatch. Proper alignment of the neck rings will increase the mold life.
