PanellistsNick Lynch was at AstraZeneca for 13 years leading teams in R&D Informatics, working especially on global integration projects, externalisation & data exchange for the AZ research activities. Nick was a co-founder of Pistoia Alliance as well supporting the initial Open PHACTS WP definitions, eTriks and EBI industry programme. He established Curlew Research in 2014 working on a number of projects with Pharma and Life Science informatics companies.

Claus Stie Kallesøe is co-founder and CEO of gritsystems A/S. He also sits on the Elixir Industry Advisory Committee. Claus was formally the Chief Specialist and Head of Global Research Informatics at Lundbeck and was overall responsible for Lundbeck’s Global Research IT since 2000. In parallel he held a role as executive assistant to Head of Research as well as running efficiency projects for the CEO and CFO.

Sanskriti Thakur dedicates her professional career to the life science innovation industries of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Sanskriti has served as an industry leader, strategy consultant and entrepreneur. She was recently responsible for innovation, operations & strategy for a $9 Billion pharmaceutical portfolio, and speaking on new commercial models in healthcare. This past year she launched a digital diagnostic company with the participation of multiple academic and corporate partners and continues to advise both life science start-ups and mature corporations.
