JOEY STONE* (LEADING PLAYER) attended the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music for musical theatre before moving to Chicago

five years ago. He was last seen in Mary Zimmerman’s Candide (Señor/Soldier) at the Goodman Theatre, the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington D.C., and the Huntington Theatre Company in Boston. Recent Chicago credits include Frank Galati’s The Snow Queen (Snow Queen Puppeteer/Dancer) at Victory Gardens Theater, Jim Corti’s Sweet Charity and Cabaret (Bobby), David Bell’s Boys from Syracuse (the Duke), Gary Griffin’s Funny Girl (Cornet Man), Bill Brown’s Curtains (Harv), and Bill Osetek’s Mame (Ralph Devine) at Drury Lane Oakbrook, and Brenda Didier’s Rocky Horror Show at the Mercury Theater. Joey is passionate about the cultivation and creation of new music and original works of theatre. This has led him to collaborate with Lauren Molina, Patrick Martin, and the band “-j&p-” online, and with Blair Thomas and Company, and the House Theatre of Chicago for the stage. He is thrilled to begin his collaborative efforts with The Music Theatre Company.

ANGIE STEMBERG* (FASTRADA) is beyond excited to be making her TMTC debut. She was last seen as Adelaide in Guys and Dolls at Theatre at the

Center. Some other favorite credits include: Roxie in Chicago, Bianca in Kiss Me Kate, Marty in Grease, Lily St. Regis in Annie, Narrator in Joseph…Dreamcoat, and Sheila in A Chorus Line. Since moving to Chicago twelve years ago, she has performed on the stages of Drury Lane Oakbrook and Martinique, Marriott Theatre, Peninsula Players, Pheasant Run, and the Royal George Theatre. Angie recently choreographed and performed at Maya Angelou’s 80th birthday party hosted by Oprah Winfrey. She is originally from Wisconsin and is a member of Actors’ Equity. JESS GODWIN* (CATHERINE) is so excited to work with The Music Theatre Company again! Jess was most recently seen on stage with TMTC as

Wall (William), The 9/11 Report (Ensemble), and choreographic work for The 48-Hour Musicals and HappyFoods. Chicago area credits include: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Gideon), Thoroughly Modern Millie, Funny Girl, and High School Musical at Drury Lane Oakbrook; The Bowery Boys, High School Musical, Seussical at Marriott Theatre; Hello, Dolly! (Barnaby Tucker), Cats, La Cage Aux Folles, and Man of La Mancha at Theatre at the Center. He has also shared the stage with Patti LuPone in Annie Get Your Gun at Ravinia Festival. He will be choreographing Zanna, Don’t! (TMTC’S Young Artists’ Program) this summer. Zach holds a BFA in Music Theatre from Illinois Wesleyan and is a proud member of Actors’ Equity. PEGGY ROEDER* (BERTHE; March 22 - April 13) recently completed a run as Mrs. Higgins in My Fair Lady at the Asolo Rep Theatre

in Sarasota, Florida, and was last seen at The Music Theatre Company in 2009 in a reading of Summertime. Last season in Chicago, Peggy appeared in Float at About Face Theatre as well as in Grease and The Big Meal (Jeff Award--Best Ensemble) at American Theater Company. She has been seen in The Dresser at Steppenwolf Theatre, Romeo and Juliet at The Goodman Theatre, Clean House at Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Cabaret at Peninsula Players, Capote’s Holiday Stories for Provision Theatre, The Cider House Rules at Atlantic Theatre Company and Mark Taper Forum, and Barefoot in the Park at Drury Lane Oakbrook. Her work in Chicago has garnered her four Jeff Awards, three Artisan Awards, and two After Dark Awards. Film work includes: Ground-hog Day, Road to Perdition, In Memo-riam, Were the World Mine, and Stranger than Fiction. TV credits include: “Law & Order,” “E.R.,” and “Star Trek DS9.” This spring, Peggy will be seen in Making God Laugh at Theatre At The Center in Munster, Indiana.

CINDY GOLD* (BERTHE; April 19 - May 6) Chicago-area work includes: Showboat at Lyric Opera; Love Loss and What I Wore at Broadway in Chicago;

Invasion of Skokie at Chicago Dramatists; Awake and Sing, Jekyll and Hyde, Pride and Prejudice all at Northlight Theatre; Arsenic and Old Lace directed by Frank Galati at Northwestern University. Cindy also collaborated with Frank Galati and Stephen Flaherty on their new musical, Loving Repeating (Jeff Award, Best Actress) with About Face/MCA. She has appeared with Next Theatre, Victory Gardens Theater, Court Theatre, Peninsula Players, Madison Rep, Shakespeare Sedona, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Boston Shakespeare, and Mental Floss Improvisation, Miami. She was seen in TNT’s new show, “Leverage,” last fall. Cindy is an Associate Professor of Theatre and Head of Acting at Northwestern University.



ISABELLE ROBERTS (THEO), most recently appeared as Mary Claire Daugherty in The Christmas Schooner (The Mercury Theater Chicago)

and as Chip in Beauty and the Beast (New Trier High School). She also performed in New Trier High School’s Les Misérables, as well as a number of productions at the Northbrook Theatre including The Wizard of Oz, Pinocchio and Willy Wonka Jr.

ERICA BITTNER (SWING) Recent Chicago credits include Peer Gynt (Solveig) at Polarity Ensemble Theatre, Love’s Labour’s Lost (Katharine) at Oak

Park Festival Theatre, The Giver (Lilly) at GreatWorks Theatre Company, Hello, Dolly! (Ensemble) at Light Opera Works, and Sweet Charity (Ensemble) at the Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA). She has also performed in various Redmoon-for-Hire projects with Redmoon Theater. She is a recent graduate of CCPA at Roosevelt University and holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre.

ELLIOT BURTON (SWING) is excited to make his Music Theatre Company debut. A St. Louis native, Elliot is currently pursuing a BFA in Musical

Theatre Performance at Columbia College Chicago. He was last seen as the Emperor in Gulliver’s Travels at Li’l Buds Theatre Company. Last season, he played Mungojerrie and Skimbleshanks in Theo Ubique’s Cats (Jeff Award Nomination for Best Ensemble). Other favorite roles include Goldberg in LaChiusa’s The Wild Party and Leaf Coneybear in 25th…Spelling Bee at Columbia College. TOMMY RIVERA-VEGA (ENSEMBLE), born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, was most recently seen as part of the Original Puerto

Rican Cast of Spring Awakening, playing the role of Moritz Stiefel. LUCY ZUKAITIS (ENSEMBLE) is originally from Omaha, Nebraska where she majored in theatre at Creighton Univer-sity and performed

with Omaha Theatre Company and the Nebraska Shakespeare Festival. Lucy was most recently seen as Randi Stein in Greetings at Illinois Theatre Center. Some of her favorite credits include Gwendolen Fairfax in The Importance of Being Earnest (Janus Theatre Company), The Princess in Love’s Labour’s Lost (Creighton University), Mavis Turner in Stepping Out: the Musical (Dana Theatre Company), and Tricia in Dog Sees God (Skullduggery Productions).

JESSICA REDISH (DIRECTOR/ CHOREOGRAPHER) is the Founding Artistic Director of The Music Theatre Company where she directed and

choreographed the company’s



Jeff-Nominated production of Merrily We Roll Along, and Erika’s Wall. Jessica also directed, choreographed and conceived the company’s The 9/11 Report: A Bipartisan Musical Fantasia by Michael Mahler. She choreographed She Loves Me at Writers’ Theatre in Glencoe and Seussical at First Stage in Milwaukee, and also served as the Movement Director for the off-Broadway production of Adding Machine, directed by David Cromer. Jessica will direct Summertime, currently in development at Writers’ Theatre, with music and lyrics by Alan Schmuckler and book by Laura Eason. Upcoming: Choreographing RENT at American Theatre Company/About Face Theatre directed by Mr. Cromer, Pinkalicious at First Stage in Milwaukee and Sweet Charity at Writers’ Theatre. Jessica is an alumna of Northwestern University and is a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.

IAN WEINBERGER (MUSIC DIRECTOR and ORCHESTRAL REDUCTIONS) returns to The Music Theatre Company, where he previously music directed Mer-rily We Roll Along. JESSICA SNYDER (COSTUME DESIGN) is an Atlanta-based costume designer and is delighted to return to The Music Theatre Company for a second season. Since her work on Merrily We Roll Along, Jessica has designed shows throughout the Midwest and the Southeast including: Little Women, Twelfth Night, The Tempest, Out of Order, On Broadway Too, Leapfest 2011, Look Back in Anger, and 12 Angry Men. Jes-sica holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree from Western Illinois University.

CHRISTOPHER KRIZ † (SOUND DESIGN) works nationally as a composer and sound designer. In Chicago, Chris has designed for companies including: Northlight Theatre, Steppenwolf, Good-man Theatre, Victory Gardens Theater and TimeLine Theatre. Regional credits include: The national tour of America Amerique (Jena Company) and the upcoming The Fall Of The House (The-atre Squared). ALLISON KANE (CONDUCTOR) received her degree in arranging and orchestra-tion at Berklee College of Music. Since then, she has served as music director/pianist/arranger/conductor in both Chi-cago and NYC. ERIC SISCO (TECHNICAL DIRECTOR) Eric graduated in 2010 from the DePaul Theatre School with a BFA in Techni-cal Theatre and is currently an artistic associate at Caffeine Theatre. While not practicing theatre or film, Eric works at Schuler Shook with both the theatre planning and lighting design divisions. He also freelances as an architectural draftsman and finance manager.

DANIEL J. HANSON* (PRODUCTION STAGE MANAGER) Minneapolis/St. Paul credits include: To Kill a Mocking-bird, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde (Park Square Theatre); Queens of Burlesque (The History The-atre); Menopause the Musical (The Lab Theatre); A Year with Frog and Toad, and The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins (Children’s Theatre Company). ADRIENNE BADER (ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER) is a proud graduate of Northwestern University. She spent the 2010-2011 season as a Production Assistant for Writers’ Theatre in Glencoe, working on productions of She Loves Me (Dir. Michael Halberstam), Do the Hustle and Heartbreak House (Dir. Wil-liam Brown). Chicago stage manage-ment credits include Sizzle: A Global Warming Comedy (New Suit Theatre Company) and the 25th Annual Young Playwrights Festival (Pegasus Players).

MICHAEL HOLTZMAN (ASSISTANT DIRECTOR/DRAMATURG) is a proud graduate of Northwestern University, where his directing credits include: Ragtime, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s

Nest, Little Shop of Horrors and Medea. Michael has assisted with Act One Conservatory (Mud Season) and Shat-tered Globe Theatre Ensemble (Orpheus Descending) and will be producing for About Face Theatre this upcoming summer. He is currently a member of the Shattered Globe Protégé program and an associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.

MATT DEITCHMAN (ASSISTANT MUSIC DIRECTOR) is a Chicago-based musician and performer and recent Northwestern University graduate, where he music directed a production of Pippin last fall. This spring, he will be music directing the Waa-Mu Show at Northwestern as well as helping develop the orchestrations for Hero at the Marriott Theatre. Thanks to Ian for his exceptional tutelage, and the rest of the team for having him on board.
