Erskine Attachments is the original manufacturer of the rear pull and front mounted snowblowers for tractors and the hydraulic snowblower for hydraulic powered power units. Erskine Attachments is known in the industry for setting the standards and benchmarks for quality and performance, especially for snow removal equipment. In 1948, Erskine Attachments was founded to meet the needs of local farmers located in northwestern Minnesota who were snowbound to their farms because of the amount of snowfall, blowing and drifted snow. The farmers milked cows and the bulk trucks couldn’t reach their farm sites. Northwestern Minnesota is heavily populated with the independent Scandinavian spirit. That spirit of self-determination clearly saw the problem and then birthed the solution. The regions’ farmers came together and designed the first snowblowers for tractors. That same spirit of self-determination exists today at Erskine Attachments. We see problems as opportunities and we offer solutions to solve those problems that benefit our customers and society. So, when our dealers told us that they needed an Extreme-Duty Hydraulic Snowblower, we knew we could deliver. Radial Piston Motor Our radial piston pump motor is at 100% peak torque, 100% of the time. In comparison to other types of motors ours is more efficient at peak torque. Under peak load we maintain our torque allowing up to three times more productivity. We blow more tons of snow per hour than our competitors allowing you to be more productive in a shorter time frame.

28” Five-Bladed Cupped Fan Design & 3/16” AR400 Replaceable LinerOur unique 28” precisely designed, robotic welded five-bladed cupped fan is more efficient and throws a smoother stream of snow than four-bladed designs. Keeping our commercial and municipality customers in mind, we created a replaceable 3/16” AR400 bolt-in insert so the fan liner can be quickly replaced. This will protect your investment for the longterm.

Four Stage Chute Design In order to accommodate the high volume of snow created by the combination of our unique motor and fan design we had to invent a robust, high capacity chute. We designed our chute to have a specific arc, a large and yet short throat to accommodate a continuous high volume stream of snow. Our four stage adjustable deflectors allow incremental adjustment of the snow stream direction. The dual cylinder design provides more stability and strength to the chute.

Also the chute is lined with high wear polyethylene insert for increased longevity of the chute (replaceable and bolt-in). Additionally, the chute has the ability to fold down and to the left which would allow easier storage and access to the fan in the event of plugging.

Due to feedback from our customers we are now offering a 13’ truck loading chute because trucks are getting taller.

Pivoting Universal Attachment Plate Our unique pivoting universal attachment plate allows the blower to follow the contour of the terrain, 10º in each direction for a 20º range. This exclusive design allows the blower to stay in contact with more surface area, while preventing gouging of the surface area being blown. Additionally our unique design prevents uneven cutting edge wear adding to the cutting edge life, reducing the cost of ownership.

Three Sectional Trip Cutting Edge To date, we are the only company that offers a three sectional trip cutting edge on a commercial snowblower. The trip cutting edge prevents unnecessary damage from hitting manhole covers, curbs, or unexpected fixed obstacles saving time and money. Our trip cutting edge provides piece of mind for the operator allowing them to operate at a faster speed knowing there is added protection designed into the snowblower preventing damage. Additionally, the trip cutting edge can be locked with bolts for hard-packed snow and ice removal.

Serrated 28” Double Ribboned AR400 AugerTo date, we are the only company that has designed an auger using AR400. AR400 is extremely wear resistant, top-of-the-line USA steel for longer life. Our unique high capacity fan and motor system requires a large 28” auger design that can handle more snow material. Our serrated 28” double ribboned AR400 auger design cuts through hard-packed snow and ice.

Dual Auger Motors With intention we designed a top-of-the-line product with dual auger motors. This allows for longer motor life and less maintenance in the field. Equally distributes the torque on each motor, reducing the stress on each motor shaft.

Spin-Formed Directional Funnel Our unique highly machined and engineered spin-formed directional funnel serves many purposes. Firstly, the special shape is intentionally designed to break up and move the snow towards the fan. The spin-formed directional funnel provides protective housing for the dual auger motors. Thirdly, it provides a solid backbone for the auger structure. Replaceable bolt-on end plates for increased life of the auger.

7 Position Adjustable Auger Height Design

This design allows each customer to select their preferred auger height. The customer can control the height of the auger simply by moving the pins. 7 Position adjusts up to 2.8“ of adjustment to keep the auger as close to the surface as possible without touching.

10 Gauge Heavy-Duty Moldboard Body Design Our pioneering heavy-duty industrial structural moldboard and body design is built strong to accommodate commercial use with most skid steers, wheel loaders, and tractors.

Side CuttersBecause this snowblower is designed for mountain or high snowfall areas the purpose of the side cutter is to cut the snow down and move the snow to the auger and fan.

Adjustable Height Mounting Plate DesignOur unique adjustable height mounting plate design offers the customer 5 positions or 10” of total adjustment (2” apart) to create the proper adjustment for their power unit.
