I have not read Angelica Panganibansblogs/posts, but according to some

colleagues, it seems that somewhatbitter statements pertain to her ex, DerekRamsay.

Just last week on her Instagram post(which I printed in a previous column),Angel could not contain her joy as shedescribed the perfect Sunday she hadwith John Lloyd Cruz. If her heart is trulyhappy now, there should be no more roomleft for ill feelings.

Then again, only Angel and Derekknow why they broke up. Derek has onlygood words to say about Angel and hewants wonderful memories to stay thatway.

Since Derek is still in London, I askedhis manager, Jojie Dingcong, about hissentiments. Its hard to assume, Jojiesaid. But theyre really about Derek, Iknow hes a gentleman and will handlethe matter properly.

Wouldnt it be better for Angelica togo derek to the point? Some questionsare better left unanswered, but not thosepertaining to love and goodbye.

MANILA, Philippines ---The body of the pilot of thelight plane that crashed offMasbate City with Interior andLocal Government SecretaryJesse Robredo aboard has beenretrieved, authorities announcedWednesday.

The body, which was stillstrapped in the planes right seat,is that of the pilot, Capt. JessupBahinting, according to 9thInfantry Battalion commanderLt. Col. Julian Pacatan.

Authorities initially describedthe remains as unrecognizablebut Bahintings relativesidentied it through a ring and aFossil watch.

The recovery of the Bahintingsbody came a day after diversretrieved the remains ofRobredo from the Piper Senecawhich plunged into the sea lastSaturday.

That leaves only the co-pilot, Nepalese Kshitiz Chand,unaccounted for. Jun Abrazado,Robredos aide, has survived thecrash.

Defense Secretary VoltaireGazmin said a ship was able topull the plane, which was upsidedown at a depth of 180 feet, to 68feet late Wednesday.

There divers were able torecover the pilots body.

Maj. Gen. Eduardo del Rosario,the Southern Luzon Command(Solcom) chief, who also heads

Task Force Kalihim, said it tooktwo attempts before the wreckagewas pulled to shallower waters.

He said that on the rst try, therope fastened to the wreckagecame loose. Divers had to godown again to fasten another ropeto the tail of the plane.

Naval Forces Southern Luzonchief Capt. Rommel Galangsaid the dive was aborted onthe recommendation of divingsupervisor Lt. Ares Camino.Diving operations resumed in theafternoon, when sea conditionsimproved.

Three of the divers are fromthe Philippine Navy and therest are South Korean volunteerdivers.

Diving operations werestopped on Tuesday aftera German volunteer diver,Danny Brumbach, 31, suffereddecompression sickness aftermaking a very rapid ascent.

Close to 600 divers fromgovernment agencies andcivilian groups took part inmassive search for the missing

plane.Strong currents and poor

visibility often hampered thedivers.

Retrieval work at a depth of100 meters requires specializedequipment such as trimix, acombination of oxygen, nitrogen

and helium. Trimix enablesdivers to stay longer in deepwater and minimizes the risk ofdecompression sickness (DCS)or bends.

Bends is caused by theformation of nitrogen bubblesform in a divers bloodstreambecause of severe pressureunderwater.

Open water and advance diversnormally limit their activity ondepths of 150 feet where theystay for less than 10 minutesusing ordinary compressed air.

sentenced to: suspension of sentence, one daycredit, thirty-six months of summary probation,ne of $ 390 plus penalties and assessments,and enhanced alcohol treatment program forsix months (AB 762 First Offender, $ 683.00enrollment fee).

On July 27, 2012, this Author likewise pleabargained the case of the rst Filipino driver

with Deputy District Attorney of LA County,Elizabeth Karb, prepared the advisementand waiver of rights and plea form for DUIrst offender, and asked Com William V.McTaggart of Department 2 to sentence thedefendant.

Likewise, the rst Filipino driver wassentenced, to: suspension of sentence, thirty-sixmonths of summary probation, one day credit,ne of $390 plus penalties and assessment($1,757.00 total) and regular alcohol treatment

program for three months (AB 541 FirstOffender, $473.00 enrollment fee).

Both Filipino drivers were given six monthsby the Commissioners to complete their alcoholtreatment programs and fully pay their nes,

A: I was a geek. I was the student whoturned in a 20-page report when the teacheronly asked for 15. I was the geek whowould spend lunch periods in the library...but it was also because I was bullied in highschool. I dont tell this story much. But Ithink people will pick up a thing or two.I was bullied in high school; starting mysophomore year until graduation. I nevergured out if I was being bullied becauseI was a geek or I was a geek because I wasbeing bullied. No prom for me. I did not go.The schoolmate that started it approachedme on graduation day and tearfullyapologized for what she did. I forgave rightthere and then... but it really scarred me. Nochild should ever go through something likethat. But at the same time, parents should b eresponsible too.

Related to this, it is a good thing to admita wrongdoing and apologize. Its liberating.And its also good for our souls to accept anapology. Life is too short to hold grudgesagainst people. And our journey here onEarth is already wearisome. Travelinglight, without bitterness and other negativefeelings toward others, enables us to walkhappier, be more joyful. And the better wefeel inside, the better we look outside :)
