CIRCLE FACILITATOR
Description Restorative justice is a way of addressing conflict and crime that enables the person who caused the harm (the offender), the people who were affected by the harm (the victim), and the community to heal. Restorative justice focuses on repairing damage and restoring relationships while encouraging accountability.
We are seeking facilitators to assist in the coordination and delivery of circles within our community as part of our restorative justice/healing program. These circles will bring those who have been affected by a crime together to identify and address their needs, and seek a resolution that promotes healing and harmony.
Facilitators will keep a safe space in the circle, while assisting communication between participants during the process. Training will be provided for the facilitators chosen based on the criteria below.
Facilitators will: o Benefit from the opportunity to experience being part
of a healing process; o Gain increased interpersonal skills; o Learn how to work in a team atmosphere ; o Opportunity to further develop professional skills; o Obtain facilitator training certificate.
Experience and Skills: o Knowledge of the community and Algonquin culture o An understanding of healing concepts, or a
willingness to learn o Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing o Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate tact,
patience, discretion, and courtesy o Planning, organization, and coordination skills o Ability to interpret, analyze, and problem solve in
potentially stressful situations o Exhibits sounds and accurate judgement
We are looking for individuals who show respect, energy, and enthusiasm. A desire to promote positive change and growth within the community is vital. A time commitment is required for training and the flexibility to work the occasional evening or weekend.

3. Remove all existing lifting and worn laminated flooring in living room, kitchen, main hallway and both bedrooms. Install new flooring throughout.
4. Remove all existing kitchen cabinets and install new with new counter top. 5. Install new kitchen sink with faucet controls. Caulk to seal. 6. Repair drywall with new drywall compound, sanded smooth. Complete with 1 coat primer and 2 coats of finish paint. 7. New paint throughout. 8. Install all new interior doors for bathroom, both bedrooms and new closet doors to fit existing size for each opening.
Complete with new painted casing around each door. Caulk to seal. 9. Replace existing acrylic shower surround with new to prevent further water leaking into wall behind. Caulk to seal. 10. Install new toilet to replace existing broken unit. 11. Replace all missing and damaged return air grilles & supply air diffusers. Re-attach galvanized ducting under some of the
supply air locations 12. Cut and remove all and install all new existing waste drain, bathroom plumbing and kitchen plumbing drains to restore water
drainage. 13. Use cement mix to fill-in hole at previously used wood stove venting location through block wall. 14. Installing new header space insulation throughout. Cover with 6 mil poly in all new insulated areas. 4ꞌ insul roll for all
basement block walls. 15. Replace exterior broken plastic vent covers with new. 16. Repair gable end soffit at furnace vent location. Match existing to complete repairs.
