 1. Create  an  account.    Use  your  Blue  Valley  student  email.    Note  the  password  as  your  

teacher  will  not  be  able  to  access  your  password  in  case  you  lose  it.  2. Choose  a  theme.    You  have  three  options.    The  other  options  listed  are  PRO  (fee)  

accounts.                    

It  will  take  a  few  moments  for  the  theme  to  load  on  your  computer.    

3. Notice  that  Piktochart  provides  sample  text  and  graphics.    Click  the  text  to  put  in  your  own  text.        Other  options:  Delete  graphic:    Click  once  on  the  graphic.    Press  the  delete  button  on  your  keyboard.    Add  graphics,  shapes  and  text:    Use  items  from  the  left  sidebar.    Notice  the  black  handles  around  the  image.    Drag  the  handles  in  or  out  to  adjust  the  graphic.                      Change  Colors:    To  change  the  format  and  colors  of  the  entire  page,  choose  2  from  the  left  sidebar  (change  mood).    You  will  have  many  color  options.    Change  Text  and  Graphic  Look:    Notice  the  toolbar  above  your  graphic  page.    Click  on  text,  shape,  graphic  or  other  designs.    You  will  have  options  to  change  the  look  by  using  this  toolbar.    

   

   Once  you  complete  your  infographic,  make  sure  you  save  and  provide  a  title.    Next,  press  the  Download  As  button  located  at  the  top  of  the  screen.                Choose  Image.    Press  Yes.        Save  to  Mr.  Anderson’s  Assignment  Box.        (Also,  save  the  file  to  your  student  folder.)
