    SynopsisThis story is about a man, Amul Basu, who is

    old and sick. Amul has to rely on his wife OtimaBasu to do verything and read the newspaper to

    him every day. One day as the wife is reading

    the newspaper, she reads a headline saying theelectricity will be cut off in their area at 8PM for

    power line repairs. Amul gets extremelydistraught at the thought of going a night without

    his electric fan, so his wife has the neighborsmove his bed to the terrace where he stays all

    night and into the morning.

    Mr Basu is a man that who can't do anything even to read anewspaper himself. Mrs Basu was portrayed as an irritable person.

    Mrs Basu is known as a loyal wife. Mrs Basu does absolutelyeverything in her home,

    from doing everyday chores, the cooking, the cleaning andtaking care of her husband.
