Magnetic Lasso Tool• I used the magnetic lasso tool to cut out the background of my feature article photograph. I dragged it around the edge of my photograph to allow me to achieve an accurate finish.

• This was successful in cutting out my photograph as it automatically finds the edge of the picture, meaning that I could get a precise finish

Blemish ToolI used the blemish tool on my feature article photograph to create a flawless, airbrushed finish on my cover stars skin.

Eraser ToolI used the eraser tool to clean up any edges that were not picked up by the magic eraser tool.

Blur ToolI used the blur tool around the edges of the feature article photograph to create a seamless finish.

Text ToolI used the text tool to create my masthead, plugs, puff and cover lines.

Fill ToolI used the fill tool to create the background of my magazine as it allowed me to create a block colour.
