• Open Photoshop Elements.• File - Open - Select the picture(s) that you would like to work on.• Click Open.• Photos will open on the screen.• Photos will also appear on the bottom of the screen in the Project Bin.

• Double click on a photo in the Project Bin to bring it to the front.• If you would like the picture to appear full screen, click on the gray bar at the top

and move the picture slightly (until the screen gets a blue line around it).

Enhancing the image:• Auto Smart Fix• Auto Levels• Auto Contrast

Effects - Filters

Double Click to activate Preview Window

Preview WindowLists Filters

• Double click to see a preview of the filter

• Use sliders to adjust

• Use drop down menu to change to other filters

• Click on OK when done
