Transcript of Photos: How Students Invoke The Christmas Spirit in Tartu
The scent of a pine tree and the light of an Advent candle add a classic touch to the Christmas feeling.
Marcel is demonstrating that not only Christmas, but also the waiting for it can be fun and sweet. Literally sweet!
“Pancakes and hot cocoa! This is how I am preparing my stomach for the greatest holidays of the year!” – says Dominika and proves it
by showing some pancake tricks. I giggle.
Let me introduce you to Zbigniew and his room: the shelves are filled with “contemporary student decorations”, cozy Christmas lighting, warm ornamental
knits and even a non-jingling bell. This is what I call the student Christmas spirit!
While looking for Christmas decorations, I found my dream vision of holidays: “New Year by the seaside.” This is how the proper holidays on the Christmas Island should look like. One more thing: that ridiculous bird should be replaced by
international students!
We all know what Christmas fever feels like and what a busy period it is. “Advent calendar helps not to get lost when counting days left until Christmas,” – recommends Nicole.
Three Italian chefs, their masterpiece and a straightforward explanation: “Italian Christmas dinner without the Pandora Ripieno pie? Are you kidding? It’s not gonna happen!”
Rocking around the Christmas tree takes place on the 3rd floor of Raatuse dormitory. Let the Christmas spirit ring!
May your days be merry and bright, and may all your Christmases be white! Wishing you all the peace, joy, and love of the season!
Ho ho ho!
