What is photography?
It is derived from the Greek words photos ("light") and graphein ("to draw")
The word was first used by scientist Sir John F.W. Herschel in 1839
* It is a method of recording images by the action of light, or related radiation, on a sensitive material.
Camera Obscura (Dark room): It was a dark box or room with a hole on one end.
-If the hole was small enough, an inverted image would be seen on the opposite wall.
