PHOTOGRAPHY PLANNING

WHO WILL BE INCLUDED? The four people that I will include in my magazine cover is; Front cover – Molly Smethurst. Contents – Erin Powell and Brooke Anderson, Curtis Oldroyd, Rachel Young. Double page spread – Molly Smethurst.

I will be the photographer taking the photos of all the individuals named above.

FRONT COVER Molly Smethurst will act as Lulu Del Lu for the front cover. For the front cover I want a close up shot of Molly showing from the shoulders up. The image of Rihanna on the right hand side is the type of shot that I want for my front cover.

Mise-en-scene; Molly will be wearing basic make-up in the close-up shot looking pale but wearing red lipstick. The make up that Rihanna is wearing is what I want but with a red lipstick.

The clothing that Molly will be wearing will not be seen as it is close up shot but I want Molly to wear a thin strap top like Rihanna is wearing in the photo.

CONTENTSFor my contents page I will have three images of indie rock artists at the bottom of the contents page. This means I will have to talk three images of three different artists.

Erin Powell and Brooke Anderson will act as a girl band duo and they will be featured in the contents page on the right hand side. The clothing that they will be wearing will be all black with bright coloured shoes as their style. To show their shoes the shot type must be a long shot so they are seen. They will also have dark eye make-up and it will not be basic like the front cover and double page spread. The image shown is how I want Brooke and Erin to stand in the contents page.

CONTENTSFor the middle image I will take a picture of Curtis Oldroyd. It will be a close up shotand he will be wearing a light coloured shirt.

The left hand side image will feature Rachel Young . The shot type will be a long shot and she will be holding a microphone. The image of Rachel will be like theimage shown of Miley Cyrus. Rachel will also be wearing a short dress like Miley is in the image.

DOUBLE PAGE SPREADFor my double page spread I want a long shot to show all of Molly’s body, but like the image to the right I want her to be sitting on the ground.

Mise-en-sceneTo create a repetitive effect I want Molly to wear basic make-up but just with red lipstick, this will also fit in with the front cover as this is the style she will have there. I also want her to wear similar clothes to the image of Lana Del Rey, including denim shorts and converse.
