The property includes three unique spaces: the house, the outdoor pavilion and garden which flow together seamlessly

The venue is a combination of indoor and outdoor event space, but predominantly outdoor

All food & beverage is provided by our exclusive caterer

Event pricing will vary based on the package you choose, the size of guest list and your personal style

We host events April – November. While the office remains open year round, we do not host events December – March.

T H E H O U S E

Our historic home was built in 1911 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It was popularly known around Franklin as the home and studio of photographer Sam Causey for nearly forty years. The iron gates made popular in his portraits are still in use today. The house provides countless settings for beautiful portraits as well as dressing rooms for the wedding party.

Our garden is truly magical. From the street, you would never know there is a hidden oasis in the heart of downtown Franklin, Tennessee. It is the perfect location for intimate wedding ceremonies, the cocktail hour or just a leisurely stroll after enjoying dinner in the pavilion.

T H E P A V I L I O N

Day or night, a party in our pavilion looks and feels amazing. It is a blank canvas ready for you to customize with your unique style. Any color palette will look perfect with our lush garden as your backdrop. A wide variety of special event lighting is available including chandeliers and string lights. You can also choose from many different styles of tables, linens and chairs to truly personalize the space.

CJ’s Off the Square offers a wide range of event services at an exceptional value to enhance the beauty of your event. From custom lighting to floral design, we can take care of everything you need for a truly stunning celebration. Catering, rentals, lighting and draping must be purchased through CJ’s Off the Square. Flowers, other tabletop decorations, invitations and photography may be provided by the professional of your choice. Please contact your planner for a complete list of available services, preferred vendors and current pricing.

A D D I T I O N A L T I M E

If you choose our Classic Wedding Package and wish to arrive prior to 2 p.m., you may purchase additional hours for $100 each. Additional hours are subject to availability. Once you add additional hours, you cannot remove them at a later date.

A $500 security deposit is charged to your account along with your package price. The deposit will be refunded within 30 days of your event as long as the contract terms are upheld.

We want you to be completely confident when you choose us and for that reason, we offer a complimentary, one-time, 48-hour hold on the date of your choice.

A signed contract and $4,000 down payment are required to confirm your reservation. All reservations are made on a first come, first served basis. You may call or email to initiate the booking process but a reservation is not confirmed until the contract has been signed and down payment has been received.
