The national park, dotted with Banyan, large Indian trees from the large shadow, is surrounded by two rivers, the Banas and Chambal and the lake Padam Talao.

The park is particularly attractive also for the ancient ruins of the temples surrounded by jungle and the tenth-century Forte.
