Photo shoot plan Lighting and Colour I will try to use different levels of lighting and get a range of photos. I want to get some photos that show the darker side of the film and some of the opposite. For the darker photos, I will try to use minimal lighting, but enough to see the character. I can also edit the photos afterwards if they are too light or too dark. One image that I want is of the main characters face. It will be in a dark room with one source of light coming from either above the actor’s head, or behind the camera. For the antagonist I will take a long shot of the actor, one photo in minimal lighting and one with full lighting. I will then edit the two images and merge them in the middle to create and effect of two sides to the character.

Lighting and ColourI will try to use different levels of lighting and get a range of photos. I want to get some photos that show the darker side of the film and some of the opposite. For the darker photos, I will try to use minimal lighting, but enough to see the character. I can also edit the photos afterwards if they are too light or too dark. I will then edit the two images and merge them in the middle to create and effect of two sides to the character.

Setting, Props and Character PositioningOne of the scenes I will use for photos would be at the barn, where there is some rubble/debris around to show that it is abandoned. I can do this while/after

filming. I may be able to only shoot this during the day if I want it to have full lighting, however at night there are no sources of light there so I will have to use my own sources. This may make it harder to get a desired effect. The actor/model will be standing alone, with a

dead body behind them, which is easily visible in the photo. Another location will be on the car park rooftop. This is an iconic scene from the trailer and will be a good place to shoot. This will need to be shot at day so that it fits with the continuity of the film. I will have the actor placed on the edge of the rooftop, looking back at the camera. I want it to be similar to the photo shown here, but have the actor facing the other way. I also may give the antagonist a weapon for example a knife or something.

Costume and Make-upThe protagonist will need to either look smart and clean, or in the same clothes however they are scruffy and dirty. There will be extras needed in a few of the shots and they will need to be dressed appropriately, for example if its at a crime scene, then they will need to be smart and look professional. The actors that pretend to be dead will need to look beaten up. They will need some makeup on if there face is visible, to make them look like they have been dead for a while. This can be done by making them look really pale, with clothes that have dirt/blood stains and are torn. I will also make the protagonist have a dirty look on his face with makeup.

Body Language and Facial ExpressionI want the antagonist to smirk in most of the photos to show his dark personality. He also need to stand vulnerable, to show that he has a weaker side to him. The protagonist however will need to look serious and mentally strong. I want him to bee looking at the camera with a straight face, looking angry. In another photo I also want him to look like he is struggling.
