Although we are officially in Ordinary Time, the church immediately gives us two very special Feasts to celebrate: Trinity Sunday and Corpus Christi Sunday. On Trinity Sunday, we celebrate the awe and mystery of three persons, one God. We cannot fully understand this mystery but we really don’t need to. How awesome is our God that it takes three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, to make up ONE perfect entity! On Corpus Christi Sunday, we celebrate the Eucharistic presence of Christ among us in the form of Bread and Wine. Each time we come to Mass, Jesus becomes fully present with us in the Eucharist. He is here! He is alive! We have the chance to be in his presence and to know him intimately!

Have you enjoyed hearing the new hand bell choir these past several months? Have you thought about being a part of the hand bell choir? If so, now is the time. Over the summer months, the hand bell choir will be holding “lessons” every other Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. This will consist of learning to read musical notes and symbols, hand bell techniques and playing together as a group. No matter what your musical knowledge, you are always welcome to join us. No audition or test. No long term commitment. Just come to a rehearsal this coming Thursday, June 15. You’ll enjoy it!!!

Religious Education News This week we return to the liturgical season of Ordinary Time. This Sunday and next Sunday, however are solemnities – special days that call attention to the central mysteries of the Catholic faith. Today on Trinity Sunday we celebrate the belief that God is Three Persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and yet One God. Award-Winning Children’s Movies now on FORMED.org Saints and Heroes movies use comedy, song, captivating illustrations, and heartwarming emotion to tell the tales of some of the great saints and epic heroes of the Catholic Faith. Father’s Day Carnations

We will be filling the Sanctuary with carnations on Father’s Day in remembrance of Father’s (living & deceased). In order to do this, we are requesting a donation of $5 per name. These men will be remembered at each of the Masses on June 17/18. If you would like to honor a man on Father’s Day, please complete the information below and return this form to the Parish Office no later than June 12. This form can be placed in the offertory basket in an envelope marked Father’s Day Remembrance.

Aunque estamos oficialmente en tiempo ordinario, la iglesia nos da inmediatamente dos fiestas muy especiales para celebrar los domingos: el domingo de la Trinidad y el domingo de Corpus Christi. En el domingo de la Trinidad, celebramos el temor y el misterio de tres personas, un Dios. No podemos entender completamente este misterio, pero realmente no lo necesitamos. ¡Qué asombroso es nuestro Dios que se necesitan tres personas, Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo, para formar una sola entidad perfecta! El domingo de Corpus Christi celebramos la presencia eucarística de Cristo entre nosotros en forma de pan y vino. Cada vez que venimos a misa, Jesús se hace plenamente presente con nosotros en la Eucaristía. ¡Él está aquí! ¡Él está vivo! ¡Tenemos la oportunidad de estar en su presencia y conocerlo íntimamente!

The goal of stopping abuse and neglect is to keep children safe. Part of keeping

children safe is finding help for the adults who have hurt them. Adults who have abused or neglected a child have many places to turn for help. What You Can Do: Know your neighbors and take an interest in

the welfare of their children. Call Florida Abuse Hotline 1-800-962-2873 if

you suspect child abuse. The call can be anonymous. Report on the

website: http://reportabuse.dcf.state.fl.us. Pray for all children and their caregivers. God

places his children in our care.
