Ministry News Dear Friends, Thank you for your prayers and support for thework being done to build God's church among thePortuguese speaking peoples. By God's grace , wehave seen significant growth in the various ministrieswe operate. What began in the 1960's as a publishingministry, today has grown to Conferences, Modularcourses, Adopt a Pastor ministry, Faith For Todaymagazine and internet ministry. This year we have seen our internet ministry growto reach over 110,000 FACEBOOK subscribers. Youmay ask, what does that mean, and why is thatimportant. Consequentially every other ministry hasthen been greatly impacted. People are being fed,challenged, equipped, and are sharing what God isdoing in their lives with others. I recently read thistestimony coming from a facebook use (one of over100,000) who watched our conferences online. "What a blessing you gave us from FIEL ministries I could not haveparticipated, and now I can via the internet! Thank you for the giftwithout measure. You really prove that the interest and reason foryour existence is the Glory of God, and not for "men centered

might remember that eight years ago, we beganpublishing John Calvin's biblecommentaries into the Portugueselanguage. This tool has been valuableto help pastors and leaders in theirunderstanding of scripture. Thisproject is very expensive, and eachcommentary costs us from $10,000-$20,000 to print. We have been ableto publish ten of them, but they are

expensive books, and not accessible to all budgets. We feel however that it is not enough to justpublish and print these books. We need to make themall available to every pastor, and theological studentfor free via this customized internet library. With newtechnologies like E-book and on demand printing, wewill still be able to supply people who want to buybooks, but more than that. We want Calvin'scommentaries, to become the commentary for the"People" read by all who would like to know moreabout God's word. It will be the ONLY biblecommentary for free, on the internet in thePortuguese language !!! There is still much work to be done to continue theseries. We are just getting started! We are looking forpeople and churches that want to help us make thisavailable for free. Now that we will not initiallybe investing in the printing, we can fund thetranslation, revision and pre-press costs for25% of what we once had to spend per book.If you would like to know more, I will gladly call you,and give you quotes. We are excited to see Godworking, and reforming His church in the Portuguesespeaking world.

Family News We are back in the United States for Christmasand the New year, and are excited to introduce ourbaby Juliet to the rest of her family. She arrivedNovember 2nd and has won all hearts around her.She is such a good baby, and has a sweet disposition.

It is our firsttime back in theStates forChristmas in 4years, and the kidswere hoping to seesnow, but inFlorida, that willnot happen any

time soon! They did however love to feel the cold,and experience the lights and sounds of a northamerican Christmas. Right now in Brazil, it is summer,and for some reason, it just does not feel right atChristmas time. However, Kimberlie did organize a big Christmasdinner at FIEL before we left, which mom and dadwere able to attend and enjoy the celebration of whatGod has done among us this year. Mom and DadDenham, areencouraged tosee God at workin our lives andministry, andwere tearfulduring thecelebrationswhich also honored them and their lives among us.We are thankful my brother Mark, flew down, and iswith them this Christmas. Please continue to pray forthem. Dad's health is stable, but is no longer able towalk. Mom, still gets around, but needs our prayers asshe has become more unstable on her feet.

We are blessed to be able to serve the Lord here inBrazil. We want to encourage you and be a blessing inyour lives as you seek to support and pray for theexpansion of the gospel to these Portuguese speakingnations. In 2013, Lord willing we will host twoconferences in Africa, one in Europe, and Three inBrazil. We would love for you to join us at one ofthese events! James and Lilah are excited towelcome Juliet into the family. Jameshas just finished second grade, andis fluent in Portuguese. He enjoysTennis and playing soccer in thestreet with the neighbors kids. Lilah has just finishedkindergarden, and will start firstgrade in January. She enjoysdrawing and coloring, and playingwith her dolls. We thank the Lordthat James shows a tender spirittowards the Lord, and wants to dowhat is right. We covet your prayersfor our Children.
