KATA was founded by Nitzan Kimchi and Dror Tishler who started sewing bags together in the 80’s out of a tiny 2x2 meter basement. In 1992 as demand for their products increased they decided to establish KATA. In a very short period of time KATA evolved from a small R&D laboratory to a multinational company that develops, manufactures and markets video and photo products in over a hundred countries around the world and is considered a leader of innovation and design in its field. KATA's 3N1 sling backpacks morph from sling to backpack and back again providing ultimate freedom of use. These revolutionary bags hold and protect your camera equipment as well as everyday accessories while allowing you quick draw for shooting and ultimate carrying comfort. Three varying sizes take equipment ranging from a small kit to a large kit for extended shooting.

In sling position the 3N1 swings around from back to front to achieve quick draw of your main camera and access to backup lenses (note that the sling can be set up for right or left handed use). In backpack position and X position you can comfortably carry your equipment for long distances. The included balancing hip strap helps stabilize the bag when needed.

Based on the architectural principle of the arch, the PALMS provide the equipment with complete protection while being very light. An aluminium pole handle allows for balanced carrying even when the center of gravity changes. The PALMS are all supplied with the Insertrolley.
