Hip-Shldr Hvy Flex Extensions:These are Heavy Flexible attachments for any non-concealed vest that add additional coverage for thewearer. They are PF 9 / BPF 3 protection to “Pelvis”, “Hip Socket”, and “Shoulder Socket” areas fromthe front only.

“Rhino” Armored Shield:This is –not- the police riot shield that you see on TV. This is a solid ballistic shield with an armored glassviewport. It covers the front 120-degree arc at PF 9. If standing, it covers from the top of your headto your knees. If kneeling, it covers your entire body. It does require at least 1-hand to use, so only1-handed fire from it is allowed, and this is usually also “hip-fire” only.

Armored Body Suit:Manufactured by Eagle Military Gear in TelAviv, Israel. This multi-piece suit has PF 6, BPF 2 coverageOf all the body –except- the head, hands, and ankle-foot areas. It is in no way conceal-able, and is veryfatiguing to wear, especially in hot-humid conditions.

Ballistic Face Mask:Manufactured by American Body Armor and Equipment, USA. It protects the entire face (“Forehead”,“Eye-Nose”, and “Mouth” locations) at PF 6, BPF 1. A hit in the “Eye-Nose” location has a 50% chanceto hit the eyeholes, i.e. ignores the PF. All perception/spotting rolls receive a –3 penalty due to poorvisibility when worn.

Gyrostabilized Binoculars:A pair of 10x binoculars with full gyrostabilization build-in. The gyros require 60 seconds to reachoperating levels. Batteries are good for ~ 2hours (requires 6 x AA rechargeable). The gyrostabilizationwill negate up to –6 penalty for spotter movement.

Bulletproof Briefcase:A normal executive briefcase with custom-fitted steel and synthetic plate in the lid, providing a PF of 20.If held in front of the body it will cover from “Base of Neck” to “Spine” locations.

Laser Communicator:A set of binoculars with a coded laser and laser receiver which gives an almost undetectable andunjammable communications to another laser communicator. Note that you must know each other’slocation and this is a line-of-sight only device. The coded laser pulses are converted into voice andsent out via. An earphone piece. The set has a build-in microphone to pick up your voice transmissions.Maximum range is approximately 1 – 1. 5 km, much less in dust/rain/snow, etc…
