Plastic recess former WSThePlastic recess formersWSarefixed to the formworkbynailingorhotbonding.Now,theThreadedtransportan-chorcanbescrewedontothefixedRecessformerWS.Inordertoavoidachangeofpositionofthetransportanchorduringconcreting, itmaybenecessary,dependingonthelength of the transport anchor, to fix it additionally to thereinforcementoftheconcreteelement.Afterthedemould-ing,thePlasticrecessformerWScanbequicklyandeasilyremovede.g.withthePHILIPPtool67WS(page6).

Magnetic recess former WSThe Magnetic recess formers WS are fixed to the steelformworkwithascrewed-ontransportanchor.Here,acor-rectionof thepositionon the formwork ispossibleatanytime.Inordertoavoidachangeofpositionofthetransportanchorduringconcreting,itmaybenecessary,dependingonthelengthofthetransportanchor,tofixitadditionallytothereinforcementoftheconcreteelement.Afterdemoulding, theMagnetic recess formerWScanbequicklyandeasilyremovedwithanAllenkey(seetable4).InordertoachievetheoptimumadhesiveforceoftheMag-neticrecessformertheadhesivesurfaceoftherecessfor-merandthesteelformworkshallbecleanedafteruse.

Handling!Improperhandlingmayresultinskinbruisesandhae-matomas. Due to the high impact speeds, parts ofthemagnetscansplinterandcauseinjuries.Magnetsdon’t belong in children’s hands.Also swallowing ofthe magnets may cause serious medical problems.Personswithpacemakersareadvisedtokeepacer-tain safety distance to strong magnets. Also directcontactwithmagneticmaterials can lead to allergicreactions(e.g.againstceramicandmetallicmaterialsaswellaszinc,nickelorplastics).Effect!Pleasenotethatmagneticfieldscandeletedatame-dia such as hard disks, cardswithmagnetic stripesetc. Electronic and mechanic components such aspacemakers,watches,counters,compasses,displayscanbeinfluencedordestroyed.Therefore,keepadis-tanceofatleastonemetretotheseobjects.Responsibility!Themagnets are coated to protect them.This coatcanberemovedduringnormaluse.Splinteringofthecoating is possible when magnets collide. But thisdoesnotaffecttheperformanceofthemagnetsandisnoreasonforcomplaint.
