Open for Revision Overview

There is a new column with hyperlink added to the right of the web request ID hyperlink (see next page for screenshot). Clicking the “revision” hyperlink will bring up a window confirming the action. Once confirmed, an auto-generated email will be sent out with the new status

update “Open for Revision (by Field User).” Certain conditions must exist for the program to be available for

revision: The current program request status is “Entered into DB;“ The request is tied to a program; The program has the approved program status of active, new or conditional; There are 90 days from when the request was last officially approved (Entered into DB); The program will not expire within the next 180 days;  It is a NEW program and there is no renewal request tied to the same program id and

school.

If a program has been opened for Revision and no action taken within a 90 day period, the program will automatically revert to the prior approved state. Any changes made prior to the 90 days will be lost!

Open for Renewal Overview

update “Open for Renewal (by Field User).”

Certain conditions must exist for the program to be available for renewal: The request is a renewal type; The current program request status is “Entered into DB;" The program is has the approved program status of active, new or conditional; The program is not expired and within one year prior to expiration date, or the

program is expired but prior to June 30th of that fiscal year).

If a program is open for Renewal and no action taken within a 90 day period, the program will automatically revert to the prior approved state. Any changes made prior to the 90 days will be lost!

Notes on Open for Renewal

If a program is up for Renewal and no action taken by the end of the fiscal year in which the program expires (i.e. June 30, 11:59:59 p.m.), the program will be automatically closed in the Approved Programs data base.

If the program needs to be opened for revision within 90 days after a renewal or a previous revision, the system office will need to approve the request. Please contact your program director for assistance. 

If a program is Closed or on Inactive status and needs to be re-activated for renewal, please contact Victoria Ekelund, 303-595-1613 or your Program Director.

Revision/Renewal Choice: This option is available for those programs that are within one year of the program expiration date yet not within the 180 days prior to the program expiring. This allows for schools/institutions to do a quick revision if the time does not allow for a full renewal.
