The guidelines are meant to allow for individuality andcreative expression whether your materials are created from scratch or from one of the templates provided.

• Addresses

• Spell out “Street” “Boulevard” “Avenue” unless they have a house number ahead of them

• Sheridan Boulevard vs. 2345 Sheridan Blvd.

• Always spell out the other street names (“Drive” “Court” “Lane” “Road” “Terrace” “Way”

• Dates

• Months are only abbreviated when there is a date with it.

• Dec. 31, 2008 vs. December 2008

• Never abbreviate March, April, May, June, July

• Don’t use “th” or “rd” behind date numbers (December 16th)L
