Pharmaceutical sales is an industry that combines a working knowledge of the human body and
pharmacology with skills in sales, networking and strategic planning. The pharmaceutical sales
representative is an essential resource for physicians and other prescribers, as he or she serves to educate the
provider on latest medications, newest clinical data and changes in formulary coverages.
This course will focus on:• understanding pharmacology and how drugs affect the
human body• FDA policies and procedures
• insurance types and drug tiers• sales strategies for catering to a total medical office
This four-month online course will assist an applicant in obtaining vital pharmaceutical sales training knowledge before breaking
into this high-demand industry. Prerequisite: Student must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Call
