Iron is important for turf development as it is required for chlorophyll production. General InformationA high performance liquid seaweed filtrate which provides phyto-hormones and vitamins for healthy grass growth, colour and increased environmental stress tolerance levels. When roots need nutrients, phyto-hormones signal enzymes to transport nutrients from the leaves to the roots, but they are captured at the growing point located at the base of the leaves; the area of most demand for energy and nutrients. This is the reason roots die back during the summer. The extra hormones in Goëmar® Calibra activate more enzymes that enable nutrients to get past this leaf factory and down to the roots, producing a higher root mass during the summer which leads to healthier turf.
