Community

Community = A community is a city, county, unincorporated area, a group of cities, a region or a community of interest (farmers, schools, state government agencies, etc.)

Provide technical support to local government’s energy/climate strategy

• Provide community energy data for long-range and short-term planning• Assist with translating energy data into key community objectives• Provide SME for local governments regarding PG&E offerings, policies

Energy Data Request Portal• May 2014: CPUC requires utilities to provide aggregated

energy data publicly• January 2015: PG&E launches new portal that provides:

• Web portal and intake process for eligible 3rd parties to make requests

• Aggregated customer energy usage report by ZIP Code, Month and Customer Class;

• Energy Data Access Committee (EDAC) to meet quarterly 2015-2016 and consider any disputes regarding energy data access, and provide guidance on IOU’s data sharing programs

New Energy Data Aggregation Rules:• Residential: at least 100 customers• Industrial: Aggregation at 15 / 20%
