Scope of Project:-The project is to construct the housing Colony in Western Maharashtra. Site is located in the Coastal Belt of Maharashtra. This Housing society includes 10 Bungalows for senior executives, 20 Apartments in five buildings, 100 dwelling for white collar workers and 300 dwellings for Blue Collared Workers. Colonies also have market and entertainment Complex.It is the Building Project with Vast Area with various structures ranging from Bunglows, Apartments to Entertainment Complexs.So for this project a proper strategy is to be developed along with the proper team Management. A personal Plan always revolves around personal objective of the Company such as success, Growth & Social Responsibility.Civil Work for the development of the housing society has been categorized into various activities starting from Excavation, RCC, Brick work, Plaster & Finishing. For the completion of all activities we require the proper strategy with proper Planning in Both ways Quality wise as well as Quantity Wise & Complete the Project in the given span of Time.For the Completion of This Project in proper time proper management is required from the Project Manager side & Should able to Control & Monitor the Activity of each & Every Department. Role of Project ManagerThe project manager has to be good decision Maker. He has to take the right decision at right time. The project manager has to play a role of a leader in this Housing Project. He has to take the team along with him, give a feelings of belonging at the same time meet the date of Completion. Being a project manager should also know the social parameters & aspects which are also important for their interest apart form his basic needs such as recreational period, Informal Interaction amongst workers, Festival Celebration, Encoragement program for the workers which would focus on their hobbies & Interest. Site SafetyProject manager works directly under the coordination of the technical directors. He is been considered as Head of site & is responsible & answerable to each & every activity on the Site.Role of Assistant Project ManagerOn Site Project Manager is assisted by the assistant Project Manager. He is responsible for assisting their assigned Project Manager in the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects. This position reports directly to the assigned Project Manager.Role of Senior EngineerSite engineers perform a technical, organizational and supervisory role on construction projects, setting out and determining the location for above and underground infrastructural installations involved in construction operations.Site engineers apply designs and plans to mark out the site and can be involved in projects ranging from small scale to multi-million pound ventures. This may include civil, road, rail and other infrastructure projects.A site engineer works as part of the site management team liaising with and working alongside architects, engineers, construction managers, supervisors, planners, surveyors and subcontractors. They share responsibility for site security, health and safety, and the organization and supervision of material and human resources.Role of Junior EngineerThe Junior Civil Engineer is a subordinate to Senior Site Engineer & Perform the Task allotted to Him by the Senior Site Engineer.Juniour Engineer generally has Responsibilities such as Performs the basic evaluation and inspection of civil engineering activities to ensure that standards and requirements are met. He Prepares, maintains and reviews technical documentation for project (e.g. drawings and specifications) under the supervision of senior engineers &Follows applicable building codes and safety regulations relevant to civil engineering.Role of Site SupervisorsThe Construction Site Supervisor will oversee the construction activities that take place on the worksite and will be involved in the supervision of General Contractors, Subcontractors and Community Partners. He/She will report to the Director of Construction. All work crews and individuals on site will take their direction from the site supervisor, who is responsible for knowing what work must be done and applying resources to accomplish that work. The Construction Site Supervisor will plan, implement and oversee construction efforts atspecific work sites. He will: Work within the guidelines and directives of the Make It Right program. Assure that the goals of the program are implemented and completed. Be a person who will work, diligently, on behalf of prospective and established homeownersThe Supervisor will be selected with equal emphasis on construction skills, the ability to transfer skills to others and create a team atmosphere of working together.Role of QC Engineer He is Directly under the Project Manager &Perform inspection of incoming products, materials or customer items according to job order, such as measure and record the dimension of components/parts using measuring instruments and analyze the findings for discrepancy;-perform non destructive test or hardness test (if necessary) and analyze findings and raise report where necessary. Perform initial inspection and raise report. Prepare test procedure whenever needed. Prepare Data Book upon completion of jobs.Role of Lab AssistantHe is the assistant of QC Engineer performs all the tasks regarding Quality according to the Orders of The QC Engineer.Organization ChartIn the Organization Chart we can see the relations between the co-relate authorities with their team Members.The project is headed by the Project Manager assisted by Assistant Project Manager under which there is a team of Senior Engineer,HR Personal,QS,QC,Accounts In charge & Store In charge.Communication SystemIn general, the communication system will be followed as per the hierarchy shown in the organization chart and in some cases, the team may communicate with head office for example the department like procurement,Accounts,Finance etc where a centralized monitoring system prevails in resource management.However,for all practical purposes, the project manager is the official spokesperson to say any thing about his project to client/Consultant.Inter departmental communications are allowed where ever common tasks/Methodologies are defined and where is company is having systematic communication formats, The Interdepartmental communications works with the easiness with easiness without ambiguity, Confusion.
